About Me

I've been out of the country for about a year...which makes me feel like a little bit of a friendless geek. So I'm looking for someone to hang out with and go do stuff with...mostly looking for hiking and climbing buddies.I like rock climbing, hiking, swimming, running, anything that gets me outside or rips skin off/leaves bruises. I'm also big on exploring and learning new skills. I'm curious and varied to the point of eccentric. I'm not always kind, but I'm always honest. I'm impatient and fairly aggressive. I'm also a massive klutz and seldom do anything right on the first go around. I have a tendancy to squeak when I fall down. I write prolifically and talk about nothing. I will seldom verbalize the things that mean the most to me. I'm not good with the squishy feelings. I like to cuddle but I'm really crappy at romance. I don't like cutting my hair, but the color changes every now and again. Right now it's blonde. "Do one thing every day that scares you" and "Life is to be lived. If you have to support yourself, you had bloody well find some way that is going to be interesting. And you don't do that by sitting around wondering about yourself" are two of my favorite quotes.I am not a princess, nor am I looking to be treated like a princess, queen, goddess, lady, insertlamecheeseytermofendearmenthere. I'm not a fan of pedestals, they tip over too easy. I'm not a tomboy, but I don't sit around wondering if what I'm doing is considered masculine or feminine. I do things that I enjoy doing. It's too easy. All I want in a guy is a buddy that I can go rock climbing with, go to the shooting range with, go learn bow hunting with and plan for the zombie apocolypse and discussing string theory and Tao, go scuba diving and kayaking in remote far away places, go climb random mountains, go to the gym and beat the bejeebies out of each other sparring, then go home to a nice hot shower, curl up and watch action comedy superhero movies or play MMORPGs followed up by "crazy wild monkey furniture breaking oh my gawd the neighbors think we're killing each other" sex...I really think it shouldn't be that difficult to come by.I'm not universally attractive. If you're not interested in me, you're not. I won't expect you to write me back. If I don't find you attractive, I'm not going to write you back. It's not to be rude. I just have no desire to get to know you, the same as passing by hundreds of random strangers on the street each day. and not pausing to get to know each and every one of them unless there's something that sparks my interest.*sigh* and I guess I need to add this disclaimer...I do not, do not, DO NOT trade "sexy" or nude photos with anyone EVER. If you can't get the idea of what I look like from what I've got posted, then sorry, your imagination sucks. Pestering me to trade pics is pretty much cause for termination of conversation with no questions asked. I've got my kinky side, but nothing goes on film or digits ever. I don't have a cookie cutter ideal of the first date. It depends on who I'm with.

    Few things about me:I’m extremely sarcastic; and have been described on more than one occasion as sassy, cheeky, smartass, etc. I come from a long line of sarcastic, quick witted, dry, all around hilarious people...so rest assured I’m pretty good at it!I’m deathly afraid of spiders and earwigs, and anything with a lot of legs, it’s embarrassing really.9 out of 10 times, I will struggle opening a banana. I’m pretty good at impressions; I don’t do anyone in particular... I’m more like a parrot.I love magic... seriously love it. Someone starts doing magic tricks and I turn into a 4 year old on Christmas morning.I value kindness, manners and really appreciate little things like opening doors and saying a simple 'thank you'.I have an amazing family, and a pretty kick ass group of friends, but am at a point in my life where it would be nice to find someone awesome to spend some time with.
