About Me

I continue to use this site in hopes to meet someone I wouldn't normally have the chance to on the day to day. I don't love the online dating thing because I am not huge on sending a bunch of e-mails back and forth. I think e-mails and texts only work for very generic conversation and are not the best way to get to know someone. On the same note I don't really want to spend time on the phone with everyone either. I know make up my mind right? lol! I say let's meet and if there is chemistry great and if not, no harm done :)Ultimately I am looking for a life partner- someone who will be my best friend and lover. I am not going to rush it and I am not going to settle. I don't think it is possible to meet "the one" sitting at home and not putting yourself out there. I am here to meet people and just see what happens. I'm not looking to get married tomorrow or rush anything, but I am also not looking for a casual hook up. I love having fun...in any capacity. I like doing just about anything. I love my friends and family and would do anything for them. The most daring thing that I have done at this point is sky diving, but I really want to go zip lining through a jungle or rain forest.About the person I want to spend time with...I am looking for someone who can challenge me mentally. I am over looking for the hottest guy in the room, the un-attainable bad boy, or the games player. I still need to be attracted to the person obviously, but the outer and the inner need to match. If you mean what you say AND your actions back it up then you are what I am looking for. I want old school romance and chivalry. Not to mean that I do not want a man's man, but I just want a nice balance of both. If you can make me laugh/ smile you will have the key to my heart. I like an outgoing person who can have fun in any situation. Motivation and work ethic are a must. I am a very driven person and want someone who can be a partner in that. How a man treats the wait staff of a restaurant or service personnel, for example, is a good indication of his character. A gentle soul does not diminish masculinity.     So I haven't had great luck on this site but optimistic that I will find someone who piques my interest. First I do have to say that I have a 5 year old son who is with me most of the time. So if you are not ok with kids, then don't bother. I am ok with someone who has kids but I don't introduce my son to just anyone, you have to earn my trust first. I'm not a girly girl which means I'm not high maintenance. I love being outdoors. Riding quads, hitting the dunes, going up in the mountains, and finding some mud and getting dirty. I love being on the river. Rafting, tubing, playing on a tahiti are a must for me in the summer.If you couldn't tell by the headline, I love Jeeps and cars in general I guess. I have worked on them, done body work, paint, and have fun working on cars. I am a Jeep girl. Grew up in a Jeep and it is the one car that I love above all other cars. Not saying that I don't like street rods, rat rods, lead sleds, etc. But there is a special place in my heart for Jeeps. There are so many things that I like doing and not sure where to start. I love watching movies, reading, not a big fan of cooking but I can and I love to bake. I enjoy sewing and do other crafty things. Don't want to sound boring but those are a few of my hobbies. Would be great to do something fun and not the typical date. Maybe go disc golfing or bowling. Or possibly seeing a movie and maybe getting some dinner or drinks afterwards. Maybe meet up with some friends and hang out, see where the evening takes us.
