There is so much to do here, and it's never a dull moment. We have the best of both worlds; The beautiful Beach and the serenity of the Mountains. During the summer, I can sit up there for hours, enjoying mother nature and everything single aspect that it has to offer.As for what I'm looking for; I like self confidence, but not arrogance. Having a sense of humor is huge! I love witty banter and sarcasm, but never in a rude or hurtful manner. I'm looking for a christian, nice, honest, good looking smart man. A man who has his goals set and his life together, or heading down the right path. I understand life's a struggle. We've all been there; Bottom line, a real man so to speak, Morals, fun, smarts, sensitive and funny.I'm a dreamer and an optimist, yet at the same time, I can contradict my beliefs because there can be different variations of sides. I'm a firm believer in living life to the fullest and taking it one day at a time. Treat everyday as if it's your last. Don't fight with the people you love. You never know what lies around the next corner. Life's too short. Within the last few years, I've tried figuring out what I really want from life, and how I want to spend it. When I was in my twenties, people always told me my thirties would be amazing, and you know what? They were right. Within the last couple years, I have learned so much more about myself. It's kinda cool because I feel like I'm learning more about what makes me tick, as well as, getting to know a different me. :) Hope that makes sense.Here are some randoms about me:* God is very important to me. I might not always walk my faith, but I'm human and I try. I was raised Christian (Non-Denominational) with church camp, youth group, the whole deal; and though not currently a regular church goer, I'm definitely a Believer. I'm far from a bible thumper; don't preach, try not to judge and strive to love.* I am not looking to get into a serious relationship, but that could change if I found that special someone.* I don't set out to shock or offend anyone, yet I also don't do anything to prevent it. :)* When I’m nervous, I jabber. I talk fast and mumble too. Pay attention cause I might quiz ya. :)* Clean sheets make me happy, and fresh air is my friend.* I believe sarcasm is the spice of life. * I'm a dork in every sense of the word.* Music makes me wanna dance, but I bust the best moves when nobody else is around. :)* I love me a good nap.* I think touching others is like candy to the soul, and a good laugh makes my eyes water and my belly happy.* Hearing a Christmas song in the middle of July all of a sudden can put me in the Christmas spirit. Is this not the most awkward task, to talk about oneself to an unknown audience? Well, let's see what I can come up with! I have been divorced for about three years now and am ready to meet new people.The single most important thing to me is my kiddo! He just turned 10 and makes life so much more interesting...usually for the good! Haha! But being a parent by no means defines me.I am an Army veteran and am passionate about traveling the world. Seriously! Another passion of mine is languages, which is why I am studying to become a French teacher. I will probably add a second foreign language to teach as well, but am somewhat undecided at this point. Speaking of French, I am half French. Just thought I would put that out there since it has shaped the person I am. Culture is extremely important to me, especially when it comes to art, music, food, wine, and beer!
