I am an RN and I love my job. I feel like I was born to care for others. I am very nurturing, loving, supportive, and encouraging in my relationships. I love to go anywhere if only for a few hours or for a week get away. I love to laugh. My friends and coworkers swear I missed my calling as a stand up comedian :) My faith is VERY important to me. If it's something we don't have in common, it will never work. Please take this into consideration before contacting me. I have been dating online for about a year. I have met a lot of great guys but just none that was the right fit for me. I live in a college town and it's become harder and harder to meet people around here since I'm no longer in my early 20's. My family is my world. My mother, who was my very best friend, went to heaven in May of this year unexpectedly. I miss her with every breath I take. She and my Dad were married for almost 35 years. I know what a healthy marriage is and I was raised in a loving, Christian home. I want to follow in the footsteps of my parents. I've had a lot thrown at me in the last year and a half but I hold on to the promise that there is a plan for my life and I look forward to finally meeting the right one. :) Ahhhhh, the first date. I am honestly up for most anything on a first date. I appreciate thought being placed into plans. I'm the type of girl who is made happy by a sincere card or a sweet gesture moreso than by things of monetary value. Dinner is always good. Especially in a place that's a little more quiet so you can get to know each other better. Love to take walks when it's nice out. I have no problem traveling to meet someone if they don't live close to me and I have even driven 2 hours to meet someone. So distance isn't really an issue for me.
