hi there, well thanks for dropping by. i am making this profile on a whim, i had one before and deleted it when i was ready to move on but now it seems like i should give it another try. the prompts say i should talk about my goals and what makes me unique, I am sure you guys are going to stick around to hear those things. shall we start with life aspirations? let's just say i would like to travel more, prove that writing can be a profitable profession and stir up some trouble while still making it home in time to watch a few episodes of scooby doo before bed. i do like to workout and it's important to me that someone I date also be somewhat into staying in shape, athough you don't have to be a gym freak. obligatory list of hobbies include mostly anything outdoors except shooting cute animals (altho shooting at the range will make me happy), going dancing and trying out new restaurants. I like all kinds of music, from country to metal to rap, so I am sure we would have at least a few bands in common. If not, I'm always looking to learn about something new. : ) I think a first date should be casual but someplace where we can talk. A first date does not involve my house or take-out food however. Maybe strolling to a few bars and sampling some local beers would be a nice start. Save the fancy dinner for when we both know that we like each other and can make fun of the snooty people around us and get each other's jokes.

I read quite a bit; I have, however, been suckered into boy scouts with my son, so camping is probably in my near future. LolI work full time, love my job, and enjoy things on the mellow side of life when I'm not at work. Having friends over for drinks, dinner out, or a comedy club is much more my thing than going to a club downtown. Actually, I don't do the club thing, ever. It's just not me. :) I'm a super open minded person, love animals, and am looking for the same in someone. Oh, and I have a pet dove. Owning a cat and a bird was not a generic pet option on here. go figure!So that's me. What about you? Should it be interview style?
