I like to think I'm a good listener or at least I try very hard to be. I like to read body language. I also try very hard not to judge because it will only come back to me in form of bad karma or close me off to the possibility of knowing someone deeply. I like to sew and design things (wall hangings, quilts, tools, clothes) and build or repair things. I don't like hanging out in the sun. I love the ocean and camping. I don't cook but am a fan of those who do. I like working out at the gym. I used to be a Civil War reenactor, thinking about maybe getting involved with it again. I like wearing frilly clothes. I've been told by others that I'm weird (don't know what that means) but it's always (I mean always) said with a smile and great fondness. I like watching baseball/football but only with others. I'm pretty comfortable in my own skin. I can stay calm under pressure (at least look like it on the outside).I would like to hear about you.Update: The nose comment on my photo was meant to show off my nose in a very proud way.......I'm so surprised at how many of you guys think I don't like my nose (eye-ka-rumba). But just the same, thank you all for feeling the need to reassure me that my nose is ok......very thoughtful. I like men who are assertive and comfortable in their own skin. It's hard to write what I think is an ideal first date because I like things to be spontaneous....what can be written about that.....takes the surprise out don't you think?     There is an Ikea closet in my mud room that holds my shoes. They are a good reflection of my life. When it comes to a first date the only thing I ask is that we get a chance to know each other. We could have a meal, or go to the top of the ledges and take in the view. It is not about what we do it is about who we are with.
