First thank you for taking the time to stop by and read my profile. I have a hard time filling these things out. I will add more and change this around as it comes to me. I don't act look or feel my age, well most of the time. I like to workout, but don't get to do it as often as I would like being I work too much. I am no barbie, so with that being said if you are looking for the Barbie type. Go to toys r us. lol... Like to swim, go to outdoor festivals, listen to music at home or see live bands play local or national talent. I listen to more rock and roll then anything. Was raised on the 60's 70's & of course 80's hair bands. My older siblings had a wide range of musical taste. From Waylon, Willie, Grand Fund Railroad, Frank Zappa, Led Zepplin, oh my the list goes on. I do like Blues and Jazz. Like going to The French Quarter for some live music and great food! Don't care for rap. Like to hang out with friends having game nights, movie nights or hanging out by the pool.I have tattoos and they are all very tasteful and colorful. I have not posted all my tattoo pics. Basically both of my legs are covered from below the knees down and am now working up. Have one on my back just below the neck line for now. Oh and I would like to ride on the back of a Harley! I am an open book and don't have anything to hide. So if you want to know something just ask me. I will add more as it comes to me.****DISLKIES****Fakes or liars, bad teeth, bad hygene, hair maintenance or as it was put to me recently lawn maintenance. lol.... Those rubber crock shoes, whoever invented those need to be shot! Socks with flip flops or sandals. Are you kidding me? If you are going to wear sandals whats the point? And of course the all time is those that wear horribly oversized clothes and pants off the butt. Oh and not into smokers, dont like the thought of kissing an ashtray. Just nasty. Plus allergic. Ahh... the empty nest. So much freedom, but it would be so much more fun with a companion!And what might that ideal companion look like? Well, I've been around the block enough to know that this is not the kind of thing for which I can make a wish list....if I do, I'll miss out on the unexpected serendipitous match. But there are a few things I do know....You must be a light or non-drinker. Alcohol Has not been a part of my life for nearly 10 years, and it can't be a big part of yours... Or we won't match.A sense of humor is hugely important - without that, life gets just too serious. I love to laugh, but I'm terrible at remembering the punchline for jokes... I'll be a wonderful audience for you! A sense of curiosity interests me...... I've spent a considerable amount of time on personal growth, and enjoy people who are curious about themselves and the live they are creating for themselves. For me, I've learned that acceptance is the answer to most of my problems. If I'm bothered about some particular person, place or thing, then it's time I adjust my own attitude, rather than focusing on what needs to be changed outside of myself.Exploring and traveling is where it's at! The arts nourish me....I'm still amazed at the cultural experience that can be had here in the Bay Area....and the list goes on. I love live music, theater and I'm a movie buff as well. The title for my profile came from a play/chic flick. Bonus points if you can guess it! Recently, I've started singing in a vocal ensemble again and am having fun, although I don't seem to be the virtuoso I remembered I was.....! I am a compassionate person, and appreciate that quality in others. Having a positive outlook on life, seeing the glass as half-full, rather than half-empty, is very important to me. But when it comes down to it, my wish list comes to down to two things. I think it's all about that magical combination of companionship and compatibility, however it comes about! It doesn't seem to work if it's only one or the other. I'd love to hear from you if you think your wish list might match mine. Coffee at the Farmer's market, then a walk around the pier is a great way to get to know each other!
