Ahh... the empty nest. So much freedom, but it would be so much more fun with a companion!And what might that ideal companion look like? Well, I've been around the block enough to know that this is not the kind of thing for which I can make a wish list....if I do, I'll miss out on the unexpected serendipitous match. But there are a few things I do know....You must be a light or non-drinker. Alcohol Has not been a part of my life for nearly 10 years, and it can't be a big part of yours... Or we won't match.A sense of humor is hugely important - without that, life gets just too serious. I love to laugh, but I'm terrible at remembering the punchline for jokes... I'll be a wonderful audience for you! A sense of curiosity interests me...... I've spent a considerable amount of time on personal growth, and enjoy people who are curious about themselves and the live they are creating for themselves. For me, I've learned that acceptance is the answer to most of my problems. If I'm bothered about some particular person, place or thing, then it's time I adjust my own attitude, rather than focusing on what needs to be changed outside of myself.Exploring and traveling is where it's at! Recently, I've started singing in a vocal ensemble again and am having fun, although I don't seem to be the virtuoso I remembered I was.....! I am a compassionate person, and appreciate that quality in others. Having a positive outlook on life, seeing the glass as half-full, rather than half-empty, is very important to me. But when it comes down to it, my wish list comes to down to two things. I think it's all about that magical combination of companionship and compatibility, however it comes about!
