Looking for: man. In age: 49-59
I don't like drama or games. I do like to laugh and I appreciate the people that make me happy. I enjoy a fun night out listening to live music, dancing, or eating out but I'm just as comfortable watching a good movie at home or cuddling in front of the fireplace. I am physically fit and tend to feel a bit like a slug if I don't make it to the gym at least a couple of times a week. Summer is my favorite season and I love to relax by the pool with a good book.I believe that a good relationship is built on trust and that when you find that special person, you have also found your best friend. I'm looking for someone who feels the same. Any place that we are both comfortable and able to get to know each other.

I enjoy going out with friends listening to bands, or sitting on the beach. No more cold or snow. I work at a florist andI really like going to work believe it or not. I have tried going kayaking and it is really alot of fun even though my first few lessons were called my swimming lessons.- I like to go swimming. and walking for exercise. I tutor children in my spare time and really enjoy people. I would enjoy sitting by the ocean, with a glass of wine, or a cold beer talking and getting to know each other.

I am totally naive re how dating is done nowadays. I am looking for satisfied, smart men who have been through perhaps tough times - but have come out the other side still intact. I am a newbie (though learning as I go) to this all. Looking for honesty and guidance as I find my bearings. Up front I have to admit that I am a bookworm. I like nothing more than getting lost in a good read. Given the choice I will most often choose a book over television. Though I love a night out with dinner and a movie. As I've gotten older I'v become more content with the simple things in life. I've hit all career aspirations, my children are on the cusp of independence - well, emotionally at least... I really like what I do (clinical psychologist working in the field of test development) and feel like I am entering a new chapter of life. I am newly single and have no idea how to be single again. The rules, expectations and process are new and foriegn to say nothing about the fact that I am 20 years older then I was last - single. So I am in the mode of exploration. I hope for great adventures! Looking for someone to accompany me on the way! I am looking for someone I relate to well as a friend...thereafter we will see where things go.! Perhaps a cup of coffee somewhere off the beaten track (not Starbucks!)....)I need some guidance here as I have not been on a date for a really long time!
