I think the first thing that you might need to read is that my preference is men taller than 5' 10" and I do not mean to be be rude but I do not like short men.. I have NO Attraction to you We must have a initial attraction and for me this is where it starts. My children are grown and i enjoy my own company. I do believe that everything works out the way it's supposed to...Not that we can just let things happen...Just during the process, "ya gotta have faith," and in hindsight, that's the way it should have gone. Hope that's not too much - but, it explains some of my outlook on life. I'm a very optimistic person and believe that anything is possible. We just have to figure out the process and be willing to put in the work to get there. I also believe that life needs to be lived, and we should make sure that we're doing what we really want to be doing, be it work, social or environmental causes, raising kids, or just having fun.I've done alot so far...probably save that part for coffee (which I admit, I have an addiction to daily lattes). I've got two children who I think are really cool! I love the ocean - I mean, I really love the ocean (favorite moments - I enjoy the mountains as long as we've got some water close by (lake, river, creek)...I enjoy listening to live music - a big variety...and I'm really getting into riding my mountain bike again. I love history - books, documentaries, movies -Right now, I'm interested in meeting new friends and we'll see where things go :)

I have been divorced for a number of years, not dating much, because I am the kind of person that believes that a parents first and foremost obligations with their time and energy is for their (minor) children. My daughter is 19 now, and has recently moved on her own and is independent and self sufficient(so, no drama there!). I think a solid and healthy relationship is a wonderful bonus in life, not that you should spend your life with anyone, just so you are not alone.
