About Me

found out i am going to have major surgery in the near future, so i am putting dating on hold. still open to writing. just can't put any effort in relationship hunting right now. I'm a pretty simple person, no drama, normal amounts of baggage, honest, loving, affectionate. I like the simple things in life: good company, good food, good music. There is a wide range of what I find "good." I like most music and particularly like live local music. I want what most people here want; to love and be loved in return. I like camping and fishing and cooking over a fire, riding on the back of a bike. I can often be found hiking in PNF looking for waterfalls. I'm a homebody and am more a follower than a leader. But I do have my own interests, goals and ideas. I am active in my church, and that is important to me. I love Jesus. I'm a blood bought, overcoming, redeemed from the curse, child of the Most High God. My faith and God keep me going. I am a work in progress. I am always trying to improve. I am health conscious, I work out regularly. Eat mostly organic locally raised food. I am trying to raise as much of my own food as I can. My kids are grown and gone. Unfortunately with the economy it hasn't been much lately. Speaking of the economy, I am fairly politically active. Right now I am involved with overpasses, defunding obamacare, and getting to the truth of Benghazi. What else do you put here? Do you really care whether I like Italian or Mexican better? I can play a mean game of scrabble. Write, I will write back. Let's start as friends. I would prefer something low key, perhaps hiking or a picnic or just a quiet cup of tea.
