Trying to find you is like putting together a million piece jigsaw puzzle. I haven't even found the straight edge pieces to connect the borders. I go to meetville just like I read the paper these days, read profiles as if to say what's new in the world of men. Occasionally a guy will catch my eye, and sometimes we talk, and if I am lucky I get a dinner date. But it is not there, that spark we are all looking for. The pieces of the puzzle just are not coming together. Why is this so hard!!I will tell you I am not perfect. My youth is gone and my Barbie days with Ken is just a memory.     It's funny what time does; they say time is an illusion and that may be true; but one thing I have learned with the passage of time is that it's better to let things be rather than try to control their outcome.As one of my favorite writers says; "Life is the dancer and we are the dance". So we are to let life dance through us and be O.K. with whatever is.O.K.; enough rambling. I am on here because I would like more companionship in my life. I like men who are intelligent and who can converse and who are happy with who they are. I am not a high maintainance woman although I do appreciate the finer things in life. But my classification of finer things may include sunset walks, watching birds soar, watching a football game at home; doesn't take a lot to have a good time. I would like to travel again; have been home more in the last several years because I have two dogs; a dog lover is a must for me! I have been to Chile, Belize, the Dominican Republic, and various states but not yet to Europe or Asia. In due time I suppose...I think it's best to form friendships first; my Dad used to say that if you can count the number of true friends you have on the fingers of one hand, consider yourself lucky. If a connection is made through friendship, so be it. If not, you have a new friend!Just a note: I have experienced passion in my life and I realize it is not easy to find the ultimate connection I have experienced in the past easily. It's one of those things I think; you know it almost immediately when you've found it. And it is incomparable to anything else; so I for one, will not settle for anything less. A beach walk or meeting over coffee someplace where we can converse and get to know each other to see if there is a connection. Alternatively, we can go hangliding together and take it from there :)
