It's funny what time does; they say time is an illusion and that may be true; but one thing I have learned with the passage of time is that it's better to let things be rather than try to control their outcome.As one of my favorite writers says; "Life is the dancer and we are the dance". But my classification of finer things may include sunset walks, watching birds soar, watching a football game at home; doesn't take a lot to have a good time. I would like to travel again; have been home more in the last several years because I have two dogs; a dog lover is a must for me! I have been to Chile, Belize, the Dominican Republic, and various states but not yet to Europe or Asia. In due time I suppose...I think it's best to form friendships first; my Dad used to say that if you can count the number of true friends you have on the fingers of one hand, consider yourself lucky. If a connection is made through friendship, so be it. If not, you have a new friend!Just a note: I have experienced passion in my life and I realize it is not easy to find the ultimate connection I have experienced in the past easily. It's one of those things I think; you know it almost immediately when you've found it. And it is incomparable to anything else; so I for one, will not settle for anything less. A beach walk or meeting over coffee someplace where we can converse and get to know each other to see if there is a connection. Alternatively, we can go hangliding together and take it from there :)
