I keep updating this but i have to, so...Too often, I find myself trying to convince myself thngs are all in my head. That I'm just scared, that I have to just sit back and accept that maybe life has some grand and wonderful plan in store for me and I'm gonna ruin it if I don't let go and trust. Then, just when I convince myself that im ok, that life is beautiful and whatever other crap fits this sentence, I'm shot back to a time where I was played for a complete fool. Never again. i am a very compassionate and passionate person. im looking to find someone i can trust. trust is the most important factor, i believe, in any relationship. i have alot to give, emotionally..if someone gives me the reason to, i will stand behind them thick or thin, sick or healthy. i love to cook and eat a healthy diet. Lots of veggies and seafood...i love a lazy day of grazing, havin a beer, and being held in bed or on the couch while watching scary movies. :) I'm really seeking a man who knows who he is and can handle an intense relationship. Unfortunately, i have to add that if you're the type of person to just give up completely and not work thru minor setbacks, im not who you want. If I'm in love, every ounce of me goes into pleasing you and truly understanding everything about you and if that's something you cant handle, please dont bother. Nobody is perfect but I believe there is a perfect somebody for me. I am not your average girl..my favorite things don't include lip gloss and Prada. The way to show me you love me is not by taking me outto an eexpensive place and buying me shoes...love, to me, means you share ur life with me. U don't hide me from the "important" people in ur life. You check in on me, via text, to make sure I'm having a good day...u thank me for my selflessness by giving me a nightof passion...if I'm worshipping the ground u walk on and u feel the same way, don't betray my trust. Don't play me for an idiot. Don't always assume I'm naive. I know she's made to be strong, but she's also so fragile, so human. Today I realized the reason im drawn to shadows is because I've always been left in the dark. Its comforting, I guess. ***

There's a wise saying out there that says that you can judge a person by what they do, not what they say....with that in mind.....What do I do???? Work full-time, going to college, being a mom, being a good friend....I guess I'm pretty good at keeping busy with the great people in my life. My big projects this year are finishing up my bachelors & picking up the pace with my running. I had five 5k races picked out so far in ***all done already), it's going to be a year of healthy fun!!! I love books...pretty much of any kind. I actually rarely read though because I am pretty busy, and I tend to have a hard time putting a book down once I start. So, if you have a recommendation, and I have an afternoon free....let me know what book I should be reading.I don't watch much tv actually; I can't claim any "shows that I gotta watch."...there have been a couple odd ones (yes, the oddness is relative) that I didn't care for but generally his movies are awesome!!I love live music, whether we're talking festivals, bars, or concerts. I don't listen to a lot of country but I'm not opposed to it. I am definitely not a fan of heavy metal or rap.I am not overly picky about food....there are some foods I don't eat but I can always find something on the menu. I generally don't cook for myself; however, I miss cooking for someone who appreciates the effort.I also absolutely love live theater...Any kind...well, not opera but anything else is game.I am not a big sports fan but I love going to the local team games.....if it's live, I'd probably enjoy it. Just really not a fan of watching it on tv!Travel is another one of my favorite things to do.... I'm always looking for a new place to visit! Just my opinion but dinner & a movie makes for a horrible first date. Actually, I would go far as to say that dinner/movie dates should be reserved for when there is nothing better to do and you don't want to stay home. There are so many better options. ...farmer's market, coffee house, find some live music, maybe something new that neither one of us has done.....if we can't be creative on the first date...... :-)

First off let's all lower our expectations! :) This is a dating site...this is just a bit of info... I don't think either of us really knows a thing about each other until we meet in person - a dash of realism to keep us focused while fishing! That said...I'm passionate about people, travel (backpacking), learning, and trying new things. I enjoy keeping active, from yoga to running.I love a good conversation - when your ideas connect. I enjoy spending time with people who are comfortable within their own skin, yet I admire people who are willing to be uncomfortable -- to achieve what they want. Spirituality, family and friends are highest on my list of values. I have lived a life I'm passionate about, full of adventure and challenges! I'm a deep thinker and I Love to laugh and have ridiculousness. I appreciate a man who is in tune with his spiritual self, a man who is conscious and aware. I am not your stereotypical Christian but I am a very spiritual individual. I would love to meet a man with a great sense of humour, intellect, and who likes to be active - you know the whole package :D Coffee. Keep it causual. Friendship is a great place to start.
