I'm sure everyone says the same thing on these "about me" sections but I don't sit around and talk about myself so its really up to you to decide what you think of me. Although I am fun and a little sarcastic at times. I love my job, family, and kids. I like to travel, go to sporting events, concerts, spend time with my family and friends. My kids are my everything so of course they come first!! I'm always down to meet new people and have a good time. I am looking for someone that is fun with a great personality and enjoys kids. Honesty is a big thing for me also. If there is no trust then there is nothing. I want someone that has the same interests as me and doesn't mind movie night at home on a Friday, drinks on a Saturday night or a Colts game on Sunday. I'm not into going to clubs and I'm not looking for someone that wants to spend their time in one either. Life is too short to be anything but happy! If you want to know anything else just send me a message!

Short version for those who think my profile is too long: I can be a real sweetheart if we are compatible in humor, career and family goals, and what to do with our spare time.Long version for those who understand that reading a profile is the best way to initially get to know someone:- I am 32, never been married, and have no kids. I'm sure that makes you immediately think "So what is wrong with her?" Well, plenty I'm sure, but it is simply that I went straight from high school to six years of college and everyone was married when I graduated. I will admit that I'm different than any girl you've ever met but that stems from the fact that I'm educated, confident, and have been everything (bread winner, cook, cleaner, financial genius, laundry lady, mechanic, contractor, etc.) by myself for a very long time.- Numbers are important to me. I'm not a math person but things like credit scores, ***k) plans, savings accounts, and retirement funds do matter. I have always been careful with my numbers and I look for that same character in a man. It shows strength because all of those things are hard to remember on the day to day basis but are vastly important in the economy in which we live. One of my greatest fears is losing what I have built because of someone else's choices.- The idea of "us" is awesome! I picture so many things when I begin a relationship and most of it focuses on what you and I will be doing. Because I don't have kids, I have difficulty dating guys who do. I like kids; I worked with preschool - 5th graders for two years. But it is hard for me to get on board with the every-other-weekend thing and all the changes that will invariably arise. It takes a great guy and some great kids for me to be comfortable in the step-girlfriend role.- Partying is overrated. It used to be cool but that was when I was in my 20's. Now I'm more of a homebody but that doesn't mean I don't like to go out sometimes. I am a karaoke fan and have been known to drink a beer or three when I'm out on the town. But most weekends, I prefer to stay at home and enjoy "us" time. I also like projects, whether they be working on my house, refinishing a cool piece of furniture, landscaping, etc. I am pretty handy around a house and prefer to attempt something myself before spending money on a professional. I would love to find someone who likes those kind of things and doesn't mind doing some work on the weekends but also likes to just veg out when we feel like it.- I love love love animals. If you do too, then we might just make a go of it. I have two dogs and three cats (the cats are outside cats). All of my animals come from shelters or are strays because I have a soft spot for small creatures who need a good home and a lot of love. That being said, I am considering expanding my horizons and becoming a foster parent. A lot of things have led to this decision and it will take a special man to understand the role of a foster parent, the role of a boyfriend of a foster parent, and the role of a needy child under my care. - Routine is important in my world. As I stated above, I have been everything for a long time and that only works well if you have a routine. I have "days" (Tuesdays are for mowing, Thursdays are for cleaning, and Friday's are for pajamas). Ha! Additionally, I am a very neat and clean person who admires those qualities in others. My house is never nice enough for a photographer to come in and shoot a magazine spread but the perfect guy understands that in both the house and garage there is a place for everything and everything runs smoother when you don't have to spend an hour looking for what you need. *drumroll* The downside to this is that if the cereal isn't put back where it goes, my mood takes a turn for the worse. I possibly have a whopping dose of OCD and things left out of place are the death of me. - Finally, the dating parameters. I feel that respect is the foundation of a relationship. If you don't respect someone, it is hard to grow with that person. Therefore, I can absolutely casually date for a while and see if it turns into more but I guarantee I won't date anyone else during that time and expect the same promise in return. Two people can only form a relationship if they do so by themselves and not with anyone else in the picture. I don't date married men, even if you've been separated for a long time. Being 32, I want to move into a serious relationship and to the next step but can't do so if my guy is legally bound to another woman.ps. A man who feels that church is a cornerstone of a good relationship is a plus! The perfect first date...Never includes a movie. I am in constant motion so a quiet, stay-in-your-assigned-seat theater is a killer. A date which includes a nice place to eat and share a conversation (maybe even dessert) is more my style. If all goes well, the date may be followed by a drink but if the date is fizzling for either of us and we say goodnight after dinner then there are no hard feelings.
