About Me

I don't feel this is the ideal way to put myself out there, but I will at least give it a try. I am looking for that special person who can make me feel like I have struck gold. I am a very honest and loyal individual. I have been told I am a little too honest at times. The filter from my brain to my mouth malfunctions at the worst times. I am not a nagging or needy type person but I do expect a man to put forth some type of effort if he expects to have a relationship with me. The one thing that will make you lose cool points with me is not doing what you say you are going to do. I am also looking for a man of faith, a christian man, who loves God. I enjoy spending time with friends and family (but doesn't everyone?). I also enjoy spending time outdoors and traveling. I spent 10 years serving in the Air Force and enjoyed every moment. I am looking for someone who is adventurous but doesn't mind staying home every now and then. I not only work full time but I am a full time student as well.     I consider myself to be an easy going person. For entertainment I enjoy small gatherings at friends homes, nature adventures like camping and hiking, relaxing at home watching a good movie. I have a 9yr old daughter and she spends 50% of her time with me. My work hours can be crazy at times but I take pride in my job and pride in hard work. Fun for me is getting my hands on anything artistic and "Do it yourself" projects around the home. I may be shy at first but when around the right people I tend to be silly and love feeling young at heart (Laughing it is good for the soul) I'm a professional photographer/ manager and enjoy what I do. This past year I have accomplished a lot of my goals, time to make new ones I guess. :). I quit smoking over a year ago but I do use the vapor cigarettes. I like Books that stimulate my imagination....movies that remove me from real life for 2 hrs.....music that makes me sing loudly in the car.... and trying food that I have never tried before. I am attracted to a man that has self improving life goals but knows when to find time for loved ones. Please be confident in yourself but not arrogant. Let me brag about you. ..:) I'm 5'9..... love to wear heels..... so I tend to be more more attracted to men that are taller then me.-minded without negtive judgement of life.     I grew up in a house where boys ask girls out and you take your hat off when you walk in the door. Funny how things change.Just like everyone else I like to travel, but I've learned my version of adventure is different than most around here. My friends and family mean a lot to me and I spend time with them as often as I can whether they are local or a plane ride away. Around town I'm usually looking for an excuse to try a new restaurant, see a show with friends, or go to a game, but I'm also up for a night in cooking and catching up on the DVR, which I'm favoring more and more these days. I also spend a lot of time working on projects around the house and am hoping I'm finally done putting furniture together! I play tennis sporadically and even though I am not a serious runner, I've run a couple of races just to prove to myself I can.- no judging for all you marathoners out there!- If it takes me more than five minutes to fall asleep I'm convinced I have insomnia- I'm not a morning person- I don't understand guys who don't like sports- I travel a lot, but I'm not a light packer- I love water except for drinking it- I don't like naps, but love to sleep- I get excited about simple things- I have a new found love for guacamole- I wish my house was as clean as it is organized- I'd rather regret something I did than something I didn't do- I ask a lot of questions, but only because I actually want to know the answers- I think Saturdays in the fall are meant for watching football Something simple that I don't have to plan.
