Well.....well.....well, where to begin on this oh so wonderful aquatic website that has kept me warm on those cold, blustery, lonely evenings in between relationships. Fact: I feel like laughter is truly the best medicine for pretty much any and all ailments. sidenote- If you cannot learn to laugh at yourself or your situation then you will almost certainly go insane by the age of ***the age at which most mid-life crisis occur- new sports car anyone?).Fact: Recently, I recieved my teaching certificate and have been working in education for the past two years.*% off ever since!...but, if you find me at least a little hilarious or at least cracked a smile while reading this then you may be my type...if you read this and you were thinking "what in the hell is this chick saying?" then you are NOT my type at which case you probably wouldn't *** unless you were superficial and only cared about appearances well....I digress- you get the point!!! As much as I love them, no movies on a first date. As hard as I've tried, I've never been able to telepathically get to know someone by sitting next to them quietly in the dark for two hours (although if you cry during a movie and I don't shed a tear, I may question your high amount of sensitivity and this could result in a turn off).

I'll update this a little and put the bomb shell on here.. I recently got diagnosed with breast cancer and will be going through treatments until the end of this year.. I'm trying to continue on through life and still get out there and meet people.. I don't expect to find the love of my life here but you never know if you don't try, so I'm trying.. I'm not any less hopeful for my future and don't think that having this cancer should stop me from living life, having fun and meeting people!!! My friends would describe me as an outgoing, outspoken, fun and care free girl.. I would say I'm a little shy and stand offish until you get to know me, then I tend to agree with what my friends say.. but I've been walked on by too many people and have decided that, those who take the time to get to know the real me are better friends in the long run... :-)I'm very open and very honest.. sometimes that's a great thing and sometimes it's not.. but on a dating site, I think being open and honest will be to everyone's benefit..
