I've been here for almost a year and I still kind of feel like a tourist. What I am missing is someone to do those things with. I am independent, self-sufficient, and have a great job that I absolutely love! I can't wait to go back again some day. I love to read...I read just about every day. I'm a huge animal lover. I love wildlife viewing. One of my favorite places to go is to Brazos Bend State Park to look for gators. I enjoy fishing, but I will never go hunting. It's okay that you do, but don't ask me to go with you. ;) I have quickly caught Texans fever and am looking forward to football season this year! I have come to the conclusion, I'm not what most men are looking for.... Being a single mom to a wonderful 9 year old boy and looking out for my father who has dementia, doesn't leave much free time in my life. I believe I'm doing exactly what God wants me to do, and bottom line is that I am a family person-I am looking for a Christian family man. I love going out and having fun at hockey games, fairs, airshows, Dave & Busters...you can have fun doing anything especially if you are with the right company. I love music of all kinds, depending on my mood that day. Some of my faves include Pink, Switchfoot, Skillet, Nickelback, 80's music, whatever plays on Star 94, but not really big on country. I enjoy cooking (maybe it's more eating my cooking), try to live a healthy lifestyle and try to laugh as much as possible. I can be a little nerdy and would like someone who gets my sense of humor-many do not...I can dress up really nice and can be just as comfortable in jeans playing ball in the park.I believe in getting to know someone as a friend first and see where things go from there. If you can't be a friend, than you definitely can't be anything more. I hope one day to find a good man to share a personal and spiritual journey with...One thing that I have to throw in here that sucks and has been a big deal-breaker in the past...I'm allergic to animals (dogs and cats) and can't have them in my home/or be in a home with them.
