I consider myself to be an easy going person. For entertainment I enjoy small gatherings at friends homes, nature adventures like camping and hiking, relaxing at home watching a good movie. I am attracted to a man that has self improving life goals but knows when to find time for loved ones. Please be confident in yourself but not arrogant. Let me brag about you. ..:) I'm 5'9..... love to wear heels..... so I tend to be more more attracted to men that are taller then me.-minded without negtive judgement of life. I grew up in a house where boys ask girls out and you take your hat off when you walk in the door. Funny how things change.Just like everyone else I like to travel, but I've learned my version of adventure is different than most around here. My friends and family mean a lot to me and I spend time with them as often as I can whether they are local or a plane ride away. Around town I'm usually looking for an excuse to try a new restaurant, see a show with friends, or go to a game, but I'm also up for a night in cooking and catching up on the DVR, which I'm favoring more and more these days. I also spend a lot of time working on projects around the house and am hoping I'm finally done putting furniture together! I play tennis sporadically and even though I am not a serious runner, I've run a couple of races just to prove to myself I can.- no judging for all you marathoners out there!- If it takes me more than five minutes to fall asleep I'm convinced I have insomnia- I'm not a morning person- I don't understand guys who don't like sports- I travel a lot, but I'm not a light packer- I love water except for drinking it- I don't like naps, but love to sleep- I get excited about simple things- I have a new found love for guacamole- I wish my house was as clean as it is organized- I'd rather regret something I did than something I didn't do- I ask a lot of questions, but only because I actually want to know the answers- I think Saturdays in the fall are meant for watching football Something simple that I don't have to plan.

I own my house in Capital Hill but spend a lot of time in temporary homes abroad for work. Looking for someone to keep me grounded in DC.I love the beach and sand as much as the mountains and snow, pretty much anything outdoors. I'm also becoming a huge Nationals fan. I have 3 dogs, which are all rescues from all over the world (newest one all the way from Korea) and would love someone to help me take them on long walks or hikes through some of our national parks. I love comedy clubs, live music, dancing and am willing to try anything at least once (well almost anything). However, I am just as happy curled up with a good book or a good man watching a good movie.Looking for someone who can keep up with me and even provide me with a challenge every now and again. I will be open and honest with you as long as you are with me. I prefer talking over texting and actions to words. An ideal first date would be maybe a museum or exhibit to explore together, i.e. find the latest groupon for a local event and go!
