About Me

This is the part where I am supposed to Razzle, Dazzle you with my wit and charm in an effort to spark your interest in my personality, appearance and intelligence..... BUT no pressure - right? LOL Me: I am a true Sagitarian through and through. I can be stubborn and determined, but am always willing to communicate, listen and compromise. I love deeply and completely, and am very loyal. Known to friends as a passionate, professional, career driven woman, who loves to laugh, spend time with friends and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. I have a great sense of humour and speak sarcasm fluently. I enjoy cooking, traveling, running, Bikram yoga and reading. I'm equal parts silly and serious. A typical weekend is spent with friends enjoying a pint of beer at a local pub, going to hot yoga, running a 5 or 10km race, trying a new recipe, or a spontaneous road trip. I absolutely love to travel and I try to get away at least twice a year. There are still a ton of places that I want to visit -- I have a successful career in banking (that I love!) that allows me lead a pretty comfortable lifestyle. I live and work downtown and am hoping to meet someone that doesn't live too far away. I like to lead a fairly healthy lifestyle by staying active and eating well (although chocolate and peanut butter are my weaknesses!). I ride my bike to work most of the year (until the snow comes), I run between ***km per week, and I just started practicing Bikram Yoga a few months ago. You: An independent man, who is not afraid to take chances. Preferably you will have a car, and a career of your own. Have a zest for life, and a great sense of humour. Being honest, tolerant, well travelled, AND have the ability to put together full sentences is a bonus! (Please know the difference between YOUR and YOU'RE, THEIR, THERE and THEY'RE). Creativity and romance is always appreciated, as is a liking of good food, wine and fluid conversation.     I am org from the east coast where all my TRUE friends are at minus a few out here in vegas but I moved out here to the west coast in 01 and to vegas in 03.     I am not new to this, but I didn't really give it a chance so I'm back at another go. I am a genuine, honest person who tries to look at the glass as "half full". Life's too short to be so serious all the time. I don't sweat the small stuff and am not into drama. I'm a huge goofball and don't care to show it. I will get up and sing karaoke like I'm auditioning for American Idol--not caring that I would never make it to the next round Bahahaha.     First off I would like to say, I am not looking for a one night stand or a fling. I am not that kind of girl.I have two boys who are 9 and 5. They keep me busy and I would like to find someone to fit in with us. They have a great dad, I am not trying to replace him. I also have 2 dogs and they are like my children as well! I love them! I am looking for someone that can give me butterflies, that will make me smile and laugh until my sides hurt and to be there when life throws me that curve ball.I never know what to say on these things! I am shy, although I am coming outta my shell, or so I have been told! I am a very trusting person, giving person and that sometimes gets me into trouble, but I am who I am! I have a few very close friends and I would do anything for them. It has taken me a long time to get here. I never loved myself, I thought I was fat and ugly and I never saw myself the way others saw me. I am a bigger girl and now I am proud to say that I do love myself!!A few things about me: I don't like coffee... it's gross, but an iced capp is ok. I love Coca-Cola, Pepsi is nasty tasting. I've never drank alcohol or smoked. I love watching reruns of my favourite tv show and movies. I love scary movies, although I have yet to find one that keeps me up all night or gives me bad dreams! I am an undercover nerd. I have been to one "Comic-Con" and I am in love!! Can't wait for the next one! Stargate-SG1 is my favourite tv show and currently the show I am watching. Lazy days are my favourite, but I don’t get many of those these days, that being said, I do like being busy with my boys.
