About Me

I get distracted reading some of the novel length profiles, so here are a few things about me: I am a happy person, have a good job and my own house. I have been distracted with house projects since the beginning on the year and it is finally on the market. If I never see another paintbrush, it will be too soon! I can't wait to find a new house so I can resume my search for a yellow lab puppy.It is amusing to me that some people find it so surprising that I love camping and canoe trips. I may come off as a city girl, but I am not afraid of getting dirty and going on outdoor adventures. I have gotten back into working out over the past few years. I have been doing a lot of yoga, but would by no means consider myself a 'yogi'. I am playing soccer again after nearly a decade hiatus. I missed it, but co-ed indoor is a strange new world... I love to cook and my friends tell me that I missed my calling as a chef. Somehow I ended up as a mechanical engineer. NHL hockey is one of the best things about winter - Go Blues!It is always a fun adventure to try a new restaurant. I enjoy anything from a tiny ethnic place to a big steakhouse, but prefer independent restaurants. Why don't you make a suggestion and we can take it from there?

    I'm a single mom of 2 crazy little girls.. They keep life interesting to say the least! Also keep me pretty busy, I guess that's why I'm on here.. I don't get out to meet people too often. She's refined, but more of a dude's lady. Laid back with a zest for life, and honest.'My favorite type of music is the slow but heavy stuff, like tool, Type O, Clutch, C of C.. I recently discovered Phosphorescence.. I don't even know what to call that dude, but it's interesting. I get into some death metal, love classic rock and bluesy stuff, very little country, no rap but some r&b.. I guess my taste is kind of all over the place.
