Hi!First off, thank-you for checking out my profile! A job offer with a great company in the Oil & Gas Industry brought me west in ***after I graduated from university with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. I love to travel! I’ South America is the only, of the five warm continents, I’ve yet to visit.As my profile mentions above, I’m a bookworm. I am even a member of a book club, but it’s more a monthly social gathering with great company in a great Calgary restaurant to enjoy conversation over a glass of wine. Yes, there are actually books involved. They get maybe 15 minutes worth of discussion during the evening.Besides travelling & reading, I enjoy going to the gym and yoga, spending time with friends and my dog. I love family time as well, but it is limited since it involves flying east and eventually to Australia when my sister moves there next year.I have a slight addiction to tattoos though my pain tolerance is degrading with every visit.     So....... A little bit about me. I'm pretty happy with my life at the moment. I like what I do for work, I have great friends and I'm close with my family. I would like to meet someone to share life with. I'm quite independent, so I like the idea of being together, but at the same time having space and the ability to spend time apart. You might have noticed from my photos already, but I really love bicycles! I ride mine to get wherever I'm going. I generally ride about an hour and a half to two hours a day, unless it's torrential out. I also love to do bike trips, so I'd love to meet someone who is into that as well. Staying fit is pretty important to me, I like to spend weekends being pretty active, hiking and stuff. I love to read and I quite like to listen to the CBC. Recently I've gotten pretty into hombrewing my own beer. I think it's good and my friends seem to like it.     I am someone who knows what they want. I just haven't found it yet. I am not looking to get married or have kids tomorrow, but that is something that I would eventually like.
