About Me

I'm currently still in school and have at least two more years to go before I'm plunged finally into the world of work. Being in school means I spend too much time alone. I just don't meet new people in my reading chair. I'm vegetarian. Since you will likely ask why, Ill say: I don't eat meat because it's bad for the environment and for my health. I don't crave bacon, but I do have a weakness for lobster.I love to dance. alone in my room, or in public's just fine with me.I throw parties so that I can dress up in costumes.I like to do things myself if I can. I want to learn to fix my bike. If you can teach me, please let me know.I am definitely opinionated, so it's best if you like a good debate. Rest assured however, I don't take it personally when I find myself disagreeing with someone. I'd say working out is my main hobby. I pump iron, jog, ride my bike everywhere, practice yoga, pretty much everything except rock climbing. Seems to me that rock climbing stuff is just bonkers.As for music, I prefer pretty sounding music. Overall, I'd say, it has to have a tune or a beat, and I'll enjoy it. This is not to say I like everything however.Right now my goal is to meet people who inspire me to be a better person. I like people with a sense of silliness and ethics. Kinda like Kurt Vonnegut jr. If you are he, reincarnated, please message me. Or, if not,if you're silly but cynical, that'll work too.Finally, here's a little tip: If all you say is "Hi" and there's no information about you in your profile that tells me something interesting about you I'm not going to respond. SO! tell me something about yourself! My ideal first date begins with a joke and a smile, includes a bunch of laughing, followed perhaps by a little awkwardness, a number of insightful observations about the state of the world today, and ends with a plan to meet again soon. Where this happens exactly isn't particularly important. A bar, cafe or a park will do just fine. Then I go home and think it all over, get kind of excited about meeting a new person who made my life a little more fun and definitely more interesting.

    My year so far has been very busy. I bought my first home,a short sale, and I would not recommend it to my worst enemy. I got a great deal, but it was definitely not a short or easy process. We are in the heart of the city, but you would never know it from inside. My place is an oasis amongst the chaos. My neighborhood is a melting pot of cultures, and I think it's great. I have endless options for places to eat and grab a drink.I feel a great responsibility to improve my neighborhood, and I volunteer when I can. My home is surrounded by great city parks, and not many people make use of them properly. I live in the most unfriendly city I the world, but that has not been my experience. Trashy I know, but I love it. No thinking required. My usual tv watching tastes tends towards cartoons, the learning and discovery channels, and the occasional lifetime movie featuring the amazing acting stylings of Tori Spelling. I'm a big kid at heart, with the mind of a nerd. I love learning new things.My life is pretty low key. I got most of my crazy out I my 20s, and no longer enjoy going to crowded clubs or bars. A first date is an opportunity to meet someone new....a walk, grab a drink, a coffee, go somewhere you've never been. :)
