About Me

hmm. I am looking to start out as friends and see where it goes. That being said, here is a little bit about myself. I work in a high school with special needs kids and love it. I read a lot (mostly sci-fi and fantasty), crochet a lot and spend a lot of time outdoors in the warmer weather. I love to go camping (backwoods, no amenities) and walking in the woods - I would say hiking but the only hikes I have taken lately are aimed at children since I usually go with my nephew. I like bonfires and hanging out with friends. During the winter, I spend more time indoors because I get cold easily. I went to a very small college in the middle of the woods.. I listen to a variety of music. It ranges from bluegrass (ex. Hot Day at the Zoo) to hardcore (ex. Blood for Blood) and almost anything between. One of my favorite bands is Tool. Anyway, if you want to know more ask me. and while it says nothing serious/dating, I am not writing off the idea of meeting someone who can become more than that (start out as friends and maybe become more). Maybe going out for a good cup of coffee or a nice walk depending on the weather.

    I am looking to meet someone that I enjoy spending time with, that makes me laugh, and good chemistry between us.....we shall see where it goes from there! I am a RN currently working for a private duty company as a Clinical Nurse Supervisor for primarily pediatric patients - I love my job! I have a 3 year old son who is my world and keeps me quite busy most of the time! I do believe he is absolutely the cutest little man ever, but I may be somewhat biased! Dinner is usually involved, however it always seems a little awkward eating in front of someone you just met! Movies always sound like a good idea, but there is no conversation involved therefore not a good option! I would say mid-day conversation & coffee at a cafe or a couple of****ails at a low key lounge/restarant to loosen the mood and generate conversation. After the initial meeting, I am all for dinner and then something fun!

    I am an animals control officer and with that territory comes animals ownership. So the person in my life needs to like animals I have dogs and a cat. I have a full time job in my field and working at the shelter itself but I would like a full time position in my field pay for animal control is very good so that is my current goal. But on the back up note I also am looking into being a medical assistant. I am independent and support myself and I would love to find someone who wants to have fun and just enjoy a relationship.
