Hello, I just want to tell you a little bit about myself so here it goes ...I am a single mom of an awesome son who I have half time. I work and own my own house. I would love to find someone out there to spend my extra time with and who shared similar interests with me. I love summertime! Everything that comes with it such as camping, bonfires, fishing, swimming, walks to the park, music festivals, fairs, gardening, and so much more! ( Minus the bugs and mowing the lawn lol) I love going out and having fun and trying new things but also sitting home watching a movie and cooking dinner are awesome too! I love romance, wine, cuddling, good conversation, and laughter and sarcasm. I like any music except for heavy metal. I have been listening to country lately and I always told myself I never would! The older I get the more things change, right! I know one thing has always stayed the same though.. the man I have always dreamed of, that has not crossed my path yet, but I still believe he's out there! I have a shy side to me, but once I feel comfortable I am very open and speak my mind. I am very compassionate, caring and a good listener , yet love to have fun and be adventurous. I am easy going and take life as it comes. I am honest and very trustworthy. I want to meet someone that makes me happy, is like a best friend that I can tell anything to, and loves me for who I am. Hate this part, but here goes......First of all, I have a one year old son who is my world. If you're not into kids, I'm not your girl. I guess I will start by describing myself. I'm 5'3", brown hair and blue eyes. I like to be active, anything outdoors like camping, horse back riding, hiking, going to the ball park, canoeing, riding ATVs, etc. As long as it is warm outside, that's where I like to be. I also enjoy nice restaurants, wine, scary movies, the beach, fall (snuggling by a campfire), and just relaxing sometimes reading a book, or watching a movie. I'm pretty easy going, quiet at first which is sometimes mistaken as being a snob. I'm very affectionate, caring and giving & I love spending as much time as possible with my family and friends. Hmmmm....what else? I'm a veteran of the military (Army) so I know how to hold my own. I'm not a total girly girl, but not a tomboy either. I like to dress nice, but am just as comfortable in jeans and a t- shirt/sweatshirt. I love to travel. I have traveled quite a bit within the states and some overseas, but there are so many more places I would love to see. Also, I looooove football. I like baseball too, but football is my favorite. What I'm looking for.......or NOT looking for LOL I don't know or expect that I will find "the one" from this site, but I figure it's worth a shot. I don't want to sound shallow, or like a snob, but I prefer someone within my age range ***I don't want to deal with anyone immature, which may come up with someone younger, and I don't want someone closer in age to my dad. I have no problem being friends with anyone of any age. So, if you're over 39, or younger than 30, please don't message me in pursuit of a relationship. Again, I will be friends with anyone. I like a guy who is a "guy" kinda guy. Sports fan, outdoors kinda guy. I like someone who is just as affectionate as I am and isn't afraid to show that they care by being passionate as well. I like romance, but nothing too mushy. If you're into Star Wars and cartoons, sorry, I don't dig it. I love flowers for no reason, a sweet card now and then, or a text just to say hi (for example) :-) Why do people put pictures of their pets on here?!I think that covers most of it! Something fun :)
