About Me

I love my job and am appreciative that I am able to say that. It's incredibly demanding and rewarding. To unwind from the daily grind, I enjoy watching sports and spend part of my paycheck on music of all types. In the winter, I enjoy hanging out with my family watching football. I'm a diehard chiefs fan even though my dad and brother love the rams. I am definitely a concert junkie! I always have music playing, even if its just background noise. I listen to a little bit of everything. I'm currently reading a large pile of random books I bought when Borders went out of business. My parents have been happily married for over 30 years and don't have any of the above. But, I do think that there has to be mutual respect/understanding for others beliefs, interests, etc. The differences are what help to make life interesting. As I have gotten older, I've found that commonalities should include: enjoying laughter, family, a hard day's work, comfortable silences, and trying new things together.As most profiles say, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I also like to travel. Locally, I love a great day at the zoo followed by hanging out on a restaurant patio.I am looking for a compassionate guy who is a non-smoker and can make me laugh.Although texting is the way to communicate these days, i'm looking for more than just a texting buddy.
