Hello!I am a fun loving, light hearted, easy going girl who is passionate about her friends, family and work. I can be a bit of a homebody (not a big fan of the club scene) but do enjoy going out to local pubs and restaurants with friends. I love hockey and am a loyal Sens fan. If only I was rich, I would go to a lot more games :)I can be very sarcastic and tend to be attracted to intelligent wit. I'm also looking for someone taller than me haha (I'm 5'9 and a half). I don't take life too seriously because it is far too short (unlike me, evidently)!Feel free to drop me a line! (Get it? Because it's plenty of fish..... did I also mention I like lame jokes? Terribly sorry. :***If you need a topic to start with, we can discuss the fact that I hate bacon. Apparently this is shocking to a lot of people... :)

I am a pretty easygoing person and usually have a smile on my face.I enjoy talking about the world - politics, religion, whatever. I am an energetic learner and like to be challenged. I think this is demonstrated by my fascination - and uber-enjoyment - of random trivia (the phrase "kit and caboodle," for example, was popularized during the Civil War). I usually have a crossword puzzle and/or book with me at all times. I love to read and wish I had more time to do it. I prefer non-fiction but have joined a book club to get out of my comfort zone. In my free time, I am generally working on a myriad of projects that are non- or quasi-work related, piddling around the house, hanging out with friends, or going to the movies/concerts/baseball games/plays. I enjoy going for walks and find the gym to be relaxing, but don't go as much as I'd like. I hope to change that soon. Faves: Movies - I will give nearly anything a try; but, favorites? I will go with The Shawshank Redemption, Labryinth, the Major League movies, the HP series, Die Hard and Sixteen Candles. Sometimes, I make bad choices in this area. A recent example is The Purge, which was about ***minutes of my life that I will never get back. Music - rock, especially 80s metal/hair bands; KISS; Counting Crows; JBJ; Jonny Lang; Gavin DeGraw; Sara Bareilles. Shows - The Daily Show; L&O; L&O: SVU; The X-Files; Scrubs; MASH; McGyver; That 70s Show; and Psych. I suspect I would love Breaking Bad and The Wire but don't have cable and haven't had ghe chance to watch them. Sons of Anarchy was pretty awesome too but I haven't seen an episode in over a yr. Food - I am a Southern girl so, I enjoy BBQ, especially in the summer. Mexican is also at the top of my list. And I make some mean sweet tea :)I love to travel and try to take a trip to someplace new every year - even if only a day trip.I also love my job and appreciate the fulfillment I get from a good day's work.I have what some would call a strange affinity for gnomes (I don't collect them, just enjoy them.)And hot air balloons.Seriously, though, I've spent the last decade in school or developing my career. I have hit a sweet spot, professionally, and am finally focusing more on relationships. I am a strong-willed, independent person and still have several goals/tasks/etc I hope to achieve. I don't have many opportunities to meet new people through work and thought I'd give this a go - it is the 21st century way to meet folks, I hear.If you've made it this far, and are still interested, you sill have to bring more than "hey" or "hey beautiful" for a response. I am more than a face or body and expect to be treated as such. It may sound harsh but I am busy and know what I want and need in life. Probably going on a tour or baseball game, etc. Someplace you can talk (rather than going to a movie) but more interesting than just dinner.
