Thanks for taking a look at my profile. Like most people, it's hard to define myself to others, but I will try.I work and this is important to me. I would like to date someone who also works or is seeking active employment.I like to cook, and I like to cook for groups of people, but I also work and parent so sometimes my time is too short to cook the way I want to.I am a parent. I have unlimited love for my kid. We do many family activities together. I do not want to bring her on a date, so please don't ask me to bring her along. She is her own person with her own personality and trying to curry her favour will not get you points, you need to impress me before she will be impressed. I also do not have an abundance of babysitters, going out on short notice is not easy for me so patience, understanding and notice are required. Much of my life and time is wrapped up in either work or being mom, but I do have interests outside of that. I enjoy watching scary movies, lots of reality TV (especially cooking shows), and I love to read (sci-fi and fantasy most of all). I love in depth conversations and occasionally doing something really off-the-wall stupidfun.I'd really like to find a companion, someone to talk to and to bounce ideas off of more than anything. Someone who isn't judgmental, who can realize that I have rough times too and doesn't mind simply listening without giving advice or outright ***'m comfortable with who I am for the most part.     Hello there!I really love traveling: backpacking or biking, meeting the local people, learning the language, eating the local food...
