Well lets see where do I begin. I am basically starting over in life right now. I am recently divorced, had to give up pretty much everything I workers hard for in life and learn what is truly important in life. The first question I get is where do I work and I will be honest I don't right now. I have been diagnosed with cancer and I am serverely anemic so I am not well enough to at the current moment. I say this not for attention or sympathy because I don't want any of that but this is a big part of my life and if you dated me it would be unfortunately part of the relationship. You may ask why not date after I'm well but I want someone that can be there for me in the bad times as well as the good. Lets face it we all want someone that can make you feel like everything is going to be ok. If you aren't wanting a relationship then ur not for me, I have never been the type to date around. I am a huge animal lover and rescue quite a few strays so you have to atleast like animals. I would also like to add unfortunately treatment has caused me to gain some weight and apparently looks is the main thing people look at. Updated: So, I was talked in to setting this up a while ago and haven't been that great about responding to messages. No offense, I guess I just wasn't looking. After constant lecturing and nagging from friends and fam that I should probably try to date more, I am going to ATTEMPT to do a little better about being responsive on here. It's not that I'm anti-social or bitter and hate men, I just am busy. I won't deny it or sugar coat it. I don't have a lot of free time and it is an absolute must that anyone I meet understands that. I'm going to skip the over hyped description of myself and just save that for conversation. :) A few things you might want or need to know; I LOVE sports, more than most women who are just saying it for "cool points." Especially basketball. If you can talk sports with me and appreciate that I can talk them back, we will get along. I am a stickler for spelling/grammar. It may make me a nerd, but it's a fact. I like smart and funny guys. Someone who can challenge me mentally. I appreciate a sense of humor but the ability to be an adult. I take being a mom very seriously, I have a soft spot for good dads, they just seem to understand my priorities more. I work hard, live a fairly simple life, and try to be as laid back as possible and prefer the same in the company I keep. Anything else you need to know or want to tell me about you is up to you. :) Something unique that makes me want a 2nd date. :)
