I'm the type of girl that will bust out laughing randomly because of something I did yesterday, If you can't laugh at yourself or have a sense of humor you can just stop reading. I'm open to suggestions for first dates, I enjoy learning what others think are good first date experiences. The happy hour thing is ok but can be impersonal. I also don't want to invest a lot of time in something that might not work and I'm sure you don't either so I think it is important to get to know a bit about each other first to see if it's worth the time for both of us:)
