I get to teach these kids how to particpate in their self care and enjoy age appropriate play despite their disability. I feel so blessed to work with these children!! They are so resilient and happy!! They inspire me and influence me all the time. It is fantastic to be able to look forward to what I do for work. I also like to go to restaurants, hiking with my dog, spending time with my awesome friends and family. I would love to find a best friend that I am attracted to and have a unique chemistry with. I obviously need to be with someone who can be honest, knows how to communicate and also has a passion or a drive in his life. You actually have to be able to do/be these things, not just say you do. Just needs to be somewhere safe, comfortable, and quiet enough to talk to each other. Movies, concerts, clubs just don't allow for conversation. As far as those cool dates where you whisk me away somewhere you can save those for dates two, three and so on. Same goes for dinner and movie at home, don't expect to know my address until a few dates in. It's just safer and saner that way. Just cuz you know you're not crazy doesn't mean I can be so sure right away and maybe I'm the crazy one. Do you really want me to know where your bedroom window is?
