Everything in life, good or bad, is part of the adventure. It molds and shapes us into who we are and hopefully we learn and grow from each experience. Each day is a gift from God and we should look for ways to touch the lives of others with something as simple as a smile or a kind word. It’s how we treat others when no one is looking that really counts. I genuinely care about people and want to help even if it’s just listening.Life is too short so I attempt not to sweat the small stuff or take myself too seriously these days. A great sense of humor is a plus. I am looking for someone who can make me laugh and will laugh at all the crazy silly things I do (I know I usually do!). I am very easy going and not very hard to please……a flower picked from the side of the road means more to me than dozens of roses (although roses are great too! lol) I’ve been told I’m a fantastic cook….I’ll leave that up to you to decide. Cooking with someone while sharing a bottle of wine is the most fun. I love to travel…..exploring and discovering new places. I like to get away to the mountains or the beach even if it’s just for the weekend. I enjoy quiet times as well as being spontaneous. I would like someone who has some of the same interests I do but will also introduce me to new experiences. I am a romantic at heart and having someone special to share things with makes life that much better. There is a huge difference in wanting someone in your life and being needy……I’m sure you know exactly what I mean.I don’t like the question “what are you looking for?” It’s difficult to say because everyone is so very different. I value all of these things and just want to be myself with someone. Writing something in a profile is not the same thing as getting to know someone. It takes time to appreciate and understand the true character of a person. They say opposites attract and I think to some degree that is true, but having something in common to start with is important.
