Interested in long hikes, a good book, a night in with a movie, and someone to share it with.Now that's the part my children ages 29 and 31 posted putting their mom on a dating site without my knowing until after the fact. When asked why they did it, their answers were as follows. Daughter says mom your like Cinderella, always doing for others sacrificing yourself.My son says you don't drink, you don't go out to the bars, but you love to hike, ski, travel, scuba dive, horseback ride, camp, fish, and have a bucket list of places and things you still want to do, things you would now love to do since your children are gone. Plus your one hell of a cook! Get out there start dating there is someone out there praying for a woman like you!My turn....I love me, in the sense that I am what I was destined to be, tall, average body, green eyes, and well hair color that now needs help with the color every once in awhile. I wake every morning, thank God I'm alive and start my day quoting a saying of Gandhi's that I want to be the change I wish to see in the world! I've never been perfect, there's always room for improvement, I believe knowledge is power, I choose to see the glass half full, not empty, everything happens for a reason with destinies purpose, that there are people and situations we have no control over! And that until you are truly happy with yourself you will only then be able to experience and live a fulfilling life.I am in the field of mental/medical care of others with special needs that I love and those I see on a daily basis whom I feel enrich my life with blessings of just how fortunate I am and all that I have. I am blessed for the love and adoration I receive from them that confirms to me I am where I am to be in this walk of life.My Children are correct, I have so much more to give and share with someone special other than my three Daschunds, who have been my loyal companions for quiet some time! Time (years) to mend and get over the deep hurt of a broken heart that was exposed to lies, deceit, and infidelity. So only if you are a good guy like my children posted respond. Only if your makeup is morally sound, only reply if you believe it is communication that builds a strong foundation, only if you believe a woman is to be treated like a lady. You believe in opening doors, pulling out her chair, holding hands, and yes send flowers or little reminders to brighten her day that your thinking of her. Even if they are picked yourself on the roadside! I'm comfortable in my own skin, can relate and talk with any walk of life with nothing but the real deal being emitted, so please if you have to put a game face on and pretend your something your not do not apply either. And most importantly liars or hiders don't even think about it.So live each day to the fullest as it could be your last. And looking forward to who responds. May we all find what were looking for.
