I am a happy person, who loves to laugh. I make friends who last a lifetime. I love to create things, like jewelry, quilts, knitted projects anything colorful attacks my attention. I desire to travel to far off places and share unique moments meeting new people and watching sunsets. I love the sound of the ocean and the spray of the water on my face. I enjoy walking in the wilderness, experiencing the beauty of nature, watching the animals and the birds in their natural habitats. I am currently a Docent at the ABQ Zoo Bio Park; this has been such a delight and is my revisiting a passion that I had wanted to follow years ago.I am divorced and have two step daughters who are now grown and I am so grateful for the joy I experienced being a part of their lives and being there for them as they grew up. It was both a joy and a challenge but I wouldn't have missed it for the world.I love all kinds of movies, but the movies which inspire and make me think are the most fun for me, even better if they are based on true life. I don’t like scary movies, but I like suspense, action and Sci Fi as well. My taste in music is varied. I like rock, the old hair bands, folk, country and I think that Marc Cohen is one of my favorite singer song writers.I am here to find a man who enjoys life, who is happy in his career or work. Someone who is kind and caring and sees the world as half-full rather than half-empty. Someone who reflects the best in me as I would want to be that for him.I don't necessarily want to pursue a marriage, although I would like to marry again one day. I love children but not looking to start that in my life at this time, but I have thought about being a foster parent and helping some kids out there who could really use a break. I am also a big animal lover and have a few that keep me company and make me laugh, and fulfill my natural desire to nurture.If any of this is interesting or matches some of your own goals or aspirations then I would enjoy meeting you. I think a wonderful first date would be at a quiet restaurant, that provides an atmosphere to talk. Possibly having a beautiful view of a sunset and some fun music in the background. 0r going out for a walk along a stream, a beautiful park or water of some kind, to just enjoy the outdoors. People watching and finding things to talk about that we have in common or providing a great atmosphere to learn more about our goals and aspirations.

    Hello, I'd like to start off by saying that I never thought I would get on a dating site, but here I am, in hopes of meeting new people, making friends and hopefully at some point finding.......... well you know, the same thing we all want. I enjoy laughing ( who doesn't ) and swimming, boating, dancing, cooking, most all music, especially country, working in the yard, pretty much anything outdoors, and a cold one occasionally., especially after all that yard work!
