I'm a mom of 3 children, all on their own & 3 grandchildren & one on the way. I adore all of them. My mother is a widow whom I help her when needed. I am a hard worker with 2 jobs, one as a Dental Receptionist & one as a Nail Technician. I am fun to be with & enjoy laughing. I love music, all kinds from rock, smooth jazz, blues & R&B. Dancing is another favorite, when I hear music it's hard to keep me still. I love the sun, swimming, tanning, boating, skiing, walking. I enjoy being outside whenever, even in winter, sledding, snowmobiling, ice skating, cross country skiing or downhill skiing. I would like to meet someone someday that I can share the things I enjoy doing with another. The first date could either be meeting for lunch or going out for dinner & getting to know one another.

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I have been on this site off and on for the past couple of years and I don't think it's for me anymore. There are a few flirts here and there, an *** 'Hi', then it stops. It works both ways and I get that. I'm sure you have felt the same disappointment. It finally occurred to me that I am really very content and do not need to try to find someone using this venue. I have a great job - been here 32 years, and have made many life long friends. I have two great kids and an adorable grandson. At 55 years old I am starting to run! I am learning how to play the bagpipes, a goal that had been on my bucket list for far too long. I would like to learn to blow glass - I volunteer for SE MN small dog rescue and am planning for an event coming up in February. I am into eating organically grown fruits and vegetables and I eat very little processed foods. If it grows on a plant, eat it. If it was made in a plant, don't. WHAT THE HELL WAS I THINKING! I don't need to meet anyone! I have friends and family who love me - some even adore me! lol. Why do we think we need this BS? No one follows through or is interested in nourishing a new friendship so why do we bother? We continue to put ourselves in a position that often makes us feel expendable, useless and unworthy. Why do we do that? I know there are some genuinely nice guys out there who are not looking for the trophy girlfriend with big hooters. When I see a man ***years old that sets his criteria to ***, I cringe. Seriously? Women that age aren't interested in your kids, your paunch or your balding head and you better make sure Mr. Wiggly works non-stop. If if does, I applaud you! If not, what the hell are you thinking? Reality check please. Well, that's all for now! I'm going to mosey along and enjoy my wonderful life, a life that felt empty until I really started to count my blessings. I honestly wish you much success here. I thought I needed you but I really don't. Take care! A nice light meal is a good ice-breaker, maybe a beer or glass of wine. Meet for coffee and conversation.
