Simple things are what I find most appealing; a casual meal in a quaint cafe, listening to a band play at a small venue, spending time with my family and friends, sharing a picnic blanket, a walk. I am an animal lover, and recently adopted a pretty little parakeet from a shelter. No grandchildren but I do have a few grand-animals! I love to learn new things ~ fencing, archery, cross country skiing, sang karaoke once (badly, but I did sing :) Somewhat cerebral, I enjoy writing poetry, a good read, and being absorbed in new creative projects. I would love to get to a hockey game, and am looking forward to snow shoeing with someone this winter..you perhaps?..I am not looking for perfect, just perfect for me, and while there does need to be an attraction, these days I prefer men with integrity, someone reliable and kind who has his priorities in order.
