FYI: As you may already know, women have an issue with their age, really we do...lol....I put this age for search purposes. I am really 58. If that bothers you, please do move on to the next profile. I've been described as a nice person, with a sassy side, (a bit of sugar & spice); loving, attentive, easy to talk to, spiritual, kind, creative ~ a poet and artist.I'm not a wild woman and you won't find me hanging out in bars. Simple things are what I find most appealing; a casual meal in a quaint cafe, listening to a band play at a small venue, spending time with my family and friends, sharing a picnic blanket, a walk. I am an animal lover, and recently adopted a pretty little parakeet from a shelter. No grandchildren but I do have a few grand-animals! I love to learn new things ~ fencing, archery, cross country skiing, sang karaoke once (badly, but I did sing :) Somewhat cerebral, I enjoy writing poetry, a good read, and being absorbed in new creative projects. I would love to get to a hockey game, and am looking forward to snow shoeing with someone this winter..you perhaps?..I am not looking for perfect, just perfect for me, and while there does need to be an attraction, these days I prefer men with integrity, someone reliable and kind who has his priorities in order. Not searching for a man to take care of me, own me, or control me; I am quite independent, thank you very much, but I really would love to meet an intelligent, secure, emotionally stable man who is not afraid to be playful and let his smile light up my world; a true partner, companion, a friend with passion who really gets me.Are you a man who uses words truthfully, and would enjoy the company of a nice lady?
