About Me

Some say I am a fun free spirit, but I just like to think I am down to earth with some flare! I am outgoing with a sense of humor. Life is too short to be boring!! I can have a serious side too but I do enjoy laughing and just not acting my age. Everyone tells me that I don't look or act my age! If you are young at heart and have a sense of humor, we will probably get along! I have so many things I like to do and / or have done--anything from gardening and taking care of my lawn, to outings: light hiking, motorcycle rides, riding in my 76 MG Midget (if you message me about the car rather than asking about me, I probably won't respond--the MG isn't looking to date), swimming, boating, camping, horseback riding, KAYAKING, scuba diving, dancing (at home or out), wine tastings at the local wineries, dining out, grilling /get togethers with friends, photography, going for rides to nowhere, the beach, the mountains, traveling--love the tropics, and LOTS LOTS more--just about anything outdoors!! It would be more fun to do a lot of these things with someone. If you are a couch potato, then I don't think we would be good fit! Oh, and have a great sense of humor--I love to laugh and joke around!! I can have a serious side too--when needed. I can relax with a bowl of popcorn and a fire, watch a good movie, or enjoy cooking, reading, listening to music, quiet conversations, board games ...and more. Can make plans, have no plans, or be spontaneous...flexible that way!I work from a home office so after work and on weekends, I like to get outside--whether it is just sitting with a glass of wine watching the sunset or zip lining through the trees or doing lawn work. Working from home has its drawbacks because I LIVE 'at' my office so I can't go 'home' to relax and unwind like most do when they leave their work at the end of the day.I probably won't respond if your messages are just a couple of words--when messaging, please say something more!Above all else, be honest and genuine. I am looking for someone that can communicate, someone with a great personality. No games, no players please. I really would like to find someone for long-term. I have found that most newly divorced are not ready for that--they want to play in the waters. No worries--I am not one of those fish. I have been divorced for a while so I am ready for a serious relationship...I know how to treat / respect a man...do you know how to treat / respect a woman? No picture--no response--why are you hiding if you really want to meet someone??? the most recent photo of me is the one with the mouse--taken Spring ***. My hair is about the same length, same weight (maybe less now). I guess that would be something to figure out together...

Hi there, I'm a kind-of shy woman looking for that long term relationship that we all dream about. I would say I'm caring, fun, creative and a little silly. I love to cook and discover new recipes to test while enjoying the occasional glass of red wine. I also enjoy interior design and finding new and creative ways to give a new look to older pieces. I love taking my dog for walks and discovering new antique shops or dives around my neighbourhood. I would say my weakness is for corny movies. I love comedies and cheesy chick flicks, but if there's popcorn I will watch just about anything. My taste in music is as diverse as it gets.I'd really like to meet someone who is looking for something long term, and has similar interests. Someone to enjoy a day on the patio or exploring local farmers markets. Thanks for reading, I look forward to hearing from you! I'd love to get to know you. Maybe the cliche coffee date? Or a nice walk through the park. An opportunity to talk and find out if we click.

Hi everyone. Let me tell you a little about me...I am a single mom to 3 adult children, 3 rescued shelter dogs, and a kitten, so I guess you have to like kids and pets. You must be HONEST, RESPECTFUL, and CARING. A gentleman who is outgoing, responsible, funny (please make me laugh), employed, educated, and kind and fun to be with is definitely a priority. I am very quick witted, and sometimes wonder if I am the only one who "gets it". I believe in talking over the internet first, then phone. You can learn so much about each other before you meet for the first time. I don't consider dating a game. I am very close with my family and enjoy being with them. My children are my number one priority and yours should be as well. A man that has children is great, but would prefer if they are older.I believe in old fashioned values...honesty, respect, commitment, respect, monogamy, respect, opening doors, respect!!! Get it?Because of my close family ties, I am not up for relocation. Thought I would put that out there........What I Like: Laughing till my face hurts. Going to NYC by train. Movies. Comedy Clubs. Museums. Doing something, or even nothing with the person I am with. What I don't like: Liars, cheaters, disrespectful people, players. If you say you are going to call, then call. Leading someone on, then just "disappearing." Never quite understood that one. If you're not interested, just say so.What makes a great date? Great conversation, mutual attraction, having a good time, not realizing that hours have passed and not wanting it to end, and of course looking forward to the next one. First dates are always so awkward and nerve racking, but they can be so amazing and wonderful too. It really doesn't matter where we go or what we do, what matters is having a good time together. Keeping it casual and non-pressured is the best.
