Hello, I have both a professional career and am a professional equestrian. I'm looking for someone who likes the lifestyle. It is a tall order, apparently! So if you don't like horses, dirt, and a seemingly endless stream if weird horse people, I'm probably not your ideal match. Lol! I kid you not... Horse people ( owners) are funny. There are worse things, I suppose!I'm not interested in pen pals or a long distance relationship. I do appreciate meeting people who have accomplished something through hard work and give back to the community. I like doing activities that are off the beaten path like hiking Enchanted Rock or some place else I haven't been to like that. In lieu of a hike, coffee would be ok. I don't drink by choice... No other reason. I don't care if you do as long as it isn't to excess. I'm also not a carnivore... Don 't care if you are, just don't try to make me eat red meat. Not my thing. I'll cook it for you though. Lol!

I am the mother of two sons, living with two dogs and a rescue dog. :) My sons are in college (living with me).-Rottie mix (4 year old) and a white American Bulldog ***years old foster dog). They are all rescues. I am an animal lover (obviously) and desire someone who is the same. I am financially and emotionally secure, and like my job. I have a positive outlook on life and believe that no problem is too big to solve. I can complete small home repairs and like to think I'm handy around the house. I try to live in a drama-free zone and enjoy it. I have a few hobbies, which include making stained glass panels, gardening in the summer, making baby blankets for the pregnant women at work, and I like to read. I like to be active, although I'm certainly not a fanatic. Active to me is a walk, bicycle ride, attending a festival, seeing a movie, going to a comedy show or rock or jazz concert, taking my dogs for a walk...anything that involves getting out, meeting new people, and having a good conversation. :) I don't sky dive, bungee jump, or ride roller coasters. :)I believe that in order for a relationship to be successful, the two people must embrace each other just as they are. We all have faults. But the trick is to be able to accept the person just as he/she is, faults and all. I'm not looking to change anyone or smother anyone, and I'm not looking for anyone to change me. If there is a laundry list of things you don't like about me, I'm not the woman for you and the same holds true for me about you. I don't smoke and I am not looking to date a smoker, trying to quit, occasional, or constant. (No offense, but I'm a former smoker and I think I'm true to that old adage...former smokers make the most intolerant nonsmokers.) I eat a fairly healthy diet. I'm looking for a confident man who is generally happy with his life. I would love a strong shoulder to rest my head upon occasionally. I'm looking for the man that will make me yearn for him and miss him as soon as we part. I'm looking to date someone steadily to see if it can deepen and develop into something special and magical. That is, of course, unless you sweep me off of my feet while I'm not looking! If that happens, all bets are off! **** Anything that involves great conversation peppered with plenty of laughter.
