I am a romantic at heart, but grounded. I have an optimistic demeanor, enjoy the outdoors, love to laugh, not embarrassed by tears, and know how to be playful to diffuse unpleasant situations (Just ask my students). I love to learn new things, and I value a strong work ethic. I have been teaching for 17 years and love educating kids. I have to say, though, that my students teach me wonderful life lessons, too. At present, I'm learning to play the drums by participating in a drumming circle - This is a new and fun activity for me. I'm not at all good at it, but that's not the point. I just enjoy trying and being around uplifting folks. I admire people who have overcome challenges in their life and discover and use their talents. I'm looking for someone who I feel at "home" with. The type of "home" I'm speaking of is a partner that I feel totally comfortable and at ease with. Are we not all looking for that kind of freedom to be authentic with that special person?
