I am a romantic at heart, but grounded. I have an optimistic demeanor, enjoy the outdoors, love to laugh, not embarrassed by tears, and know how to be playful to diffuse unpleasant situations (Just ask my students). I love to learn new things, and I value a strong work ethic. I have been teaching for 17 years and love educating kids. I have to say, though, that my students teach me wonderful life lessons, too. At present, I'm learning to play the drums by participating in a drumming circle - This is a new and fun activity for me. I'm not at all good at it, but that's not the point. I just enjoy trying and being around uplifting folks. I admire people who have overcome challenges in their life and discover and use their talents. I'm looking for someone who I feel at "home" with. The type of "home" I'm speaking of is a partner that I feel totally comfortable and at ease with. Are we not all looking for that kind of freedom to be authentic with that special person?     I don't want to wait until tomorrow , I do realize life is great thing to share. I have hopes still of finding just the man that don't want to leave me broken hearted, because he wants to only play games and use women . I'm certainly not claiming that i'm perfect. I've got many faults and made my mistakes. I don't drive i've lost my license to dwi. I wont drive with the fact also of having trouble getting around having a short term memory problem. One of the reasons i've applied for disability. I do enjoy going out to most anyplace or most any type of event. from sports ,dancing, festivals, events involving cars ,arts, theater , parks, the water or all types. Not a picky eater ,my favorite is shrimp, pasta and steaks. Enjoy family activities, church activities (important) . Most music is easy for me to follow , but I mostly these days listen to Christian contemporary music. I am definitely an animal lover, and enjoy watching birds . I enjoy working in the yard and flower beds ,very rewarding to my inner peace. I love most types of movies action, thriller, comedy . I'm active in church very important to me in life! I realize I started out somewhat negative ,but wanted to get most of the unpleasant out front .All I can add to having place them up front is I want any man that considers in responding to really think it through before contacting me . I'm aware its not the norm in most folks life ,so that's why . lso I do live with family who is helping me out at the present. I would like to add as well that before anyone starts to judge me ,step into my shoes ,walk the life I 'm living and if you get as far as I am , just maybe you'll see just how strong I really am .Im not here to play games .     That brings me such Joy, but it might be nice to Attend once in awhile? I may have forgotten what that is like given my Passion for food, menu planning and cooking. I love to fish ! I can actually catch, clean, and cook my fish :) I just love the patient art of fishing, even if I do not catch a fish all day. The sound or silence of water is amazing.
