About Me

There's nothing like shouting together at the referee for a bad call during the last 10 secs of a football game or screaming outloud when there's a turnover in our team's favor! Few experiences compare to driving a stick shift, feeling the engine shift 4th to 5th gear on an open road as we shred the map and see where the adventure takes us or imagine ending up in a local taqueria after a long day on the beach, fresh from the shower and starving, seeing you reach behind and grab my hand so we don't lose each other in the crowd, landing at our table with the ocean as our view, getting our drinks and raising our glasses in "cheers"! Now..bring on the food! With a focus on seeing all the possibilities and abundance, life is about living and having fun! And to round out the moment, after we've filled our bellies, the DJ begins and I put my hand out as the music surrounds us and maybe there are people; but it feels like it's just us, backing into each other, flirting and sharing a chase on the dance floor to lure and entice at least until the dessert tray is rolled past us ;P I believe a woman has a unique opportunity in a relationship to love and serve her man, nurture her family, be the spiritual consciousness of the family and be strong, independent, and fulfilled in life. Men have a unique opportunity in a relationship to be the spiritual leader in a family. It takes a real man and a real woman to come together and not shrink away from the gifts available in a relationship. Where two people come together whole and complete with their relationship in Christ primary, the result is powerful and unstoppable! Imagine having someone cheering for you to win big every single day, laughing so often it makes you breathe deeper than you have in a long time and knowing without a doubt you've got someone that believes you are meant to soar! Not to mention someone who'll win every single time in a pillow fight! That right there is a promise! A unique part of what makes me happy is shoes! The taller the heel the closer to God!~ And I'm particularly attentive...the shinier the man's shoes the better...I'm equally comfortable and attracted in and to bare feet and ratty hiking shoes! I am a philanthropist at heart and enjoy volunteering my time. Dancing is my therapy! I am a single mother of 2 young children (6 and 8) who loves sports. Being an active part of my children's school, I serve on the school council, PTA and am a Girl Scout leader with the inside track on Girl Scout cookies. I have a close circle of friends. I meet people easily. Loyalty is a key value in my life. I hold a professional job that provides for me and my family. I am competitive, a speed reader and am pretty good at darts! My faith is the foundation of my life and I spend my time on becoming the best me possible. Mine is a drama free life and what you see is what you get! First dates are like test driving a car! You just never know how the steering will work, or how tight the clutch is...you're not familiar with where any of the buttons are that operate anything, for sure you've no idea how to adjust the mirror for a different view so it's a chance to show up and be real without any prejudice and with an open mind. A public place to talk and see if there's anything that inspires a second date...

    I am looking for a friendship to start with a special person. A spark. Hopefully he will be the "ONE". I am very young at heart and love to have fun. I am loyal, faithful and honest. I also can by witty, quirky, and a little flighty. When I fall in love with someone, I put my all into that relationship, as I want the same in return. I do believe that love at first sight can happen. Chemistry between two people is a certain. If something is not there immediately, then good chance there never will be. Sorry, but being alone, does suck. Please understand, I will not settle just so I don't have to be alone. I am okay with 3 years being single but its just not for me.     I'm just not everyone's cup of tea, but I guess that is OK since I am happy without having to have a man in my life. I just would like to have someone to do things with and talk to on a regular basis, but no, I won't lower my standards. Sorry. I am self employed which means I don't make money unless I am working - and I work a lot. My schedule varies and can change at a moment's notice. So, I don't have time to have a pen pal. In my experience, it is better to meet sooner and determine if there is any attraction at all, rather than wasting time developing a "relationship" via chat, *** - and then meet and find out 'WOW' that's not gonna work. Been there/done that. Writing takes up much of my free time, and I live a "writer's life" which means I don't have a lot of material things, but I have what I need. Pets are important to me, so if you have issues with a little pet hair on your Armani suit that's not gonna work. If you show up for a date in overalls, that's not gonna work either. Volunteering is also an important part of my life and I work with some national animal rescues, and I also mentor other writers and host a local writers' group.
