I love life and all that this world has to offer and would like to find my best friend and life partner to share the rest of our journey together. Being an honest, affectionate, peaceful and positive person, I am also very happy, spiritually in-tune and loving. I have high integrity, am supportive and faithful to my partner, and I am looking for the same in a relationship. Mutual respect, admiration, compromise, compassion, and communication is key, and I love a good sense of humor! I absolutely love the water, whether it is boating, floating, kayaking, rafting, swimming, or walking and reading a good book on the beach! A lover of sunrises, sunsets, stars, and the full moon, finding someone who loves it as much as I do and to share it with would be extra special. I enjoy dressing up classy for dinner and theater and a night in the city, or a more casual night out for sushi & comedy or music, or cooking a delicious dinner together at home with some wine and relaxing in front of the fire with a movie. Either way, spending quality time together and having fun is what's important.Among many activities, I enjoy yoga, walking, dance, swimming. and bicycling. Staying fit and healthy is important to me and something I want in a partner. Easy-going, fun, adventurous, spontaneous and very independent, I also enjoy reading, cooking, knitting, various music, theatrical productions, opera, movies, travelling and spending time with family and friends. I enjoy my time alone and doing things by myself, and I want someone who values that as well, but also who loves & wants to be together and enjoy the social aspects of life and just with each other. I was married 16 years and have been divorced for 1 year (friendly and amicable). I have a beautiful and talented daughter approaching 12 years old, and she is the love of my life. I would love to find my best friend and life partner to share life's joys with and make new memories, and be in a committed relationship, but being a single parent and my work schedule leaves me with limited time (every other weekend basically and sporadic weekday gaps in my work schedule), "at least for now that is".     I enjoy life ... I love to travel, and have traveled extensively for all of my adult life.- and I enjoy watching a good series on Netflix with a glass or two of good wine. I've owned a successful travel business for 15 years, and I've let go when I needed to.- professionally done, and who knows? Might get a tiny diamond dermal on my cheekbone. I'm a hard worker when I need to be, but I LOVE to laugh and be with someone who can make me do so. My humor is definitely on the dry, sarcastic side, and I'm looking for someone who has lived life enough to appreciate it. I'm deep in so many ways, have been through so many "living on the edge" things that have formed the person that I am today - unique is putting it mildly. A trick question - I suppose it would depend on the time of year. Honestly, it's been so long since I've "dated" - it would depend on alot on the person I was dating. I love to be surprised, and would enjoy someone imaginative enough to decide what that might be. Dinner and a movie? Probably not. Anything that would allow us to be ourselves and comfortable, because first dates- as I recall - are sometimes awkward. I remember trying to eat a taco in a polite, tactful way - not fun, and embarrassing. I'm very self aware & self confident, and yet something in me has always responed to a man who is able to take control - without really taking control. I'm quite my own person, and rebel at being told what to do. It's all in the approach at the end of the day - for the right man, I could be the elusive woman you've always wanted. Show me.
