My favorite room is the kitchen. I am partial to traditional Italian cooking but my mind is open to new ideas. I like fresh flowers around my home and home grown spices in the kitchen. I prefer to live a healthy lifestyle. I love to walk and do aerobic activity in different variations at the gym. I hope you do also. I like sports and Sunday football. I don't like cats or birds but I adore dogs and they love me too. I think I was a mutt in my past life. I enjoy someone who gets my cornball humor. I enjoy walking before dawn...enjoying the serenity that surrounds me (as my profession can be quite "draining").Love the ocean,mountains,quaint towns and "walkable cities." Yoga,reading,movies..just a few of my favorite things :)Really need to laugh ALOT,so I try to watch funny stuff on TV and be around funny people; Humor is a great healer!! Music; Well since I am an old "Disco Diva" I luv to dance, luv R&B, Classic Rock, Oldies,etc. So that's my story and I'm sticking to it!!(LOL) My first date would be drinks and/or dinner at a place with nice ambience that wasnt't to noisy;(I luv Pubs and Sports Bars however shouting is never impressive on date one!!(LOL)) Chatting is vital, getting to know someone, sharing as I am a great listener! I grew up where you met someone through friends or shared activities - out in the real world. But today - it seems to happen "virtually"...not my preferred way...but what the heck I'm up for new things! Basically, I'm pretty easy going and handle my life (and what little baggage I have - because I have lived a bit lol) with grace and a free spirit. I'm open to new opportunities and work hard - sometimes I'm told I work too hard. I can keep confidences, conduct myself as appropriate to the situation and my family and friends are held very close to my heart. I'm not interested in "casual hook ups" or serial dating (I believe that's what it's called these days) but rather meeting someone nice on mutual terms and seeing what happens. As someone once told me "Let the art wash over you". I like that statement. Life is a tapestry we build with each experience and after raising my children (I have ***girl and a boy) I find myself now ready to see what else life has to offer!I posted a picture of myself without makeup - fresh up out of bed on a Saturday morning - because I don't believe in presenting only the "made up me" but the "real me" too. Now guys - that takes guts! (Haha) and should clue you in on a couple of things about my nature. What you see is what it is -- and I'm working towards the "best" me for this time in my life. A healthy active lifestyle is being built ... but like most things - it's a work in progress. I am happy with myself - my life - and have a sense of humor about most things.
