***Update:I first joined this site a few years back while I was separated; I think mainly because I was lonely and wanted new people to talk to. Then my husband and I worked things out and I stopped logging in. Sadly, he passed away about 6 months ago, but at least the sparks in our marriage had come back and we had some special times before I lost him. I've only been back on here for a week or so. Not even sure I should be here, but I know he would want me to have male companionship of some kind. So here I am.The diversity of those on this site fascinates me to no end. Chances are, I honed in on your great sense of humor and thought I’d enjoy chatting with you, want to compliment you on your excellent profile-making skills, or am curious and/or interested to learn more about some content in your profile.Now on to an attempt to describe myself……I hold back opening up to someone until I feel comfortable with them…sometimes that happens quickly, sometimes it takes awhile and sometimes it’s just not gonna happen.I am not outgoing, but I’m not an introvert either. I love meeting and listening to people, yet until someone gets to know me, they usually think I’m shy. I tend to be one of the more quiet ones in a group setting. That’s because I’m trying to hear what everyone else has to say. If you’re looking for “the life of the party” type of gal…I’m not her. More likely, I’m one of her dearest friends though.I love music…just about any kind. Always have. Always will. I can’t imagine a life without it. I have a deep respect and admiration for musicians (and a bit of envy). I will listen to anything at least once.I love animals…especially the furry kind.If I’m with friends…I’m usually having fun, regardless of what we are doing or where we are at. I enjoy both indoor and outdoor events/excursions/whatever else you care to call them. If you’re with the right person ANYTHING can be fun!I love road trips, preferably unhurried. I like taking time to stop and see the little things that aren’t necessarily mentioned in any tour guide and watching people along the way, and hopefully hearing their stories. That is not something you find…IT finds you. If it’s going to happen, it’s going to happen, whether you want it to or not, AND not on your own personal preplanned timeline, but when it’s the right time for IT. I think some people get so caught up in the ‘looking’ that they forget to cultivate the friendships that could have been growing. One, of which, may have eventually blossomed into the exact thing they were looking for all along, but never end up finding due to their own haste and lack of patience. ... Ten woman would be hard put to match my virtuosity. Like a genie in a bottle, each time you summon me up an entirely different woman will appear to mystify, delight, beguile, and enchant you. I am currently working on a book of short stories and hope to fisnish it in a year. How I would describe my prose style: To my eye, it's cloddish and wooden and halting most of the time. I suck at editing, I'm the worst writer but have the best stories to tell. Words are only painted fire; a look is the fire itself... I'm a good comrade for someone who likes sports, and outdoor adventure, I'm a natural person who is honest, forthright, spontaneous, and believe whole heartily in self-imporvement; I have a great sense of humor that is a stellar force in any social situation...Who am I? I appreciate the arts, theater, and literature and also like to be where the excitement is, so if there is an opening of an art gallery, a movie or play premiere, concert, planetarium, or a fashionable literary****ail party, we're there! ..I'll consider the ambiance for dinner, I'm strongly responsive to atmosphere; I'll choose quiet places with subtle, discreet lighting... also depending on the weather, a motorcycle ride to a small town for lunch would be nice, and if there are sparks, then perhaps dinner later after freshening up ... or a walk through a public garden or a mountain hike and a picnic. I'm comfortable in that little black dress as well as in black leather and riding boots.

I'm a full time Realtor, former IT girl...I love my job, the flexibility allows me to write my own schedule and I love meeting new people. I'm a few years out of a marriage (divorced now) and just finding my way back so to speak. I'm not sure how ready I am for more than dating right now. I'm not opposed at all to being head over heels in love again, but I also know that kind of love does not come by every day, so in the meantime, I'm enjoying my life,my friends and family and some very nice people here that take the time to chat with me occasionally. On a lighter note,I'm so excited about upcoming Fall Season, Jeans, sweater and boots, off to antiquing, weekend trip to St. Michaels MD, a long drive along rte 6 to see the beautiful fall colors. The smell of the fall leaves, and the rustling sound it makes when walking in them. The Sun in your face, ahh... breathe in, you know that smell, intoxicating. A long lingering kiss by the fire. ....I love fine dining with a nice glass of wine and great conversation but also very much love a slightly seedy corner cafe with simple food and a good import (there is just something about being in good company with great food and drink , what an easy feeling). I could go from jeans and sandals to a ball gown in 20 minutes if I had to. I enjoy just about any aspect of life. My friends say I'm very easy to talk to and that I have a great sense of humor, I can be a little smart ass but in a fun way.I think the best times I ever had, had a lot to do with the people I was with. Somewhere, anywhere outdoors, the sun, some wine and great conversation....and hopefully by the end of the day we could call it a date....
