... Ten woman would be hard put to match my virtuosity. Like a genie in a bottle, each time you summon me up an entirely different woman will appear to mystify, delight, beguile, and enchant you. I am currently working on a book of short stories and hope to fisnish it in a year. How I would describe my prose style: To my eye, it's cloddish and wooden and halting most of the time. I suck at editing, I'm the worst writer but have the best stories to tell. Words are only painted fire; a look is the fire itself... I'm a good comrade for someone who likes sports, and outdoor adventure, I'm a natural person who is honest, forthright, spontaneous, and believe whole heartily in self-imporvement; I have a great sense of humor that is a stellar force in any social situation...Who am I? A miracle, a rock star, counselor, healer, a healthy sexual animal, creative, I have said the same thing before but my explanation of myself, I am sure, will always be different, I am more than I know myself to be, I am my own heroine, no comment is a splended expression, I am going to use it again and again;;;; tramping through the woods, picking wildflowers for the table, I'm truly dedicated to the good life, and enjoy all kinds of little pleasures, like candle-light baths, black berries and whipcream, riding like the wind on the sleekest motorcycle/horse, dancing, movies from the ***'s to the present, reading books no ones ever herd of. I admire beauty in all its manifestations, in music, art, architecture and in people. My favorite color is prizm, is that a color that counts? My favorite holiday is the 4th of July, I respond to hand kissers, boldness, confidence and men who are honest and loyal on every level. I appreciate the arts, theater, and literature and also like to be where the excitement is, so if there is an opening of an art gallery, a movie or play premiere, concert, planetarium, or a fashionable literary****ail party, we're there! ..I'll consider the ambiance for dinner, I'm strongly responsive to atmosphere; I'll choose quiet places with subtle, discreet lighting... also depending on the weather, a motorcycle ride to a small town for lunch would be nice, and if there are sparks, then perhaps dinner later after freshening up ... or a walk through a public garden or a mountain hike and a picnic. I'm comfortable in that little black dress as well as in black leather and riding boots.

Seems like a pretty simple concept....easy to grasp =). Someone who can carry on an intelligent conversation. It just means that I've decided to look beyond the imperfections. We all have things for which to be grateful. I don't need someone to "complete" me. I look at it as icing on the cake. I'm a huge Bears fan, I prefer a pub to a club, my political views lean more towards the liberal crowd. I like lots of different music, except for rap and really really heavy headbanging metal. I believe everyone should go to a Jimmy Buffett concert at least once, if not more. It's as much fun as a person can have without breaking any laws. Fins up!!! I look forward to finding someone to slow dance with.....I haven't done that in ages. It would be nice. Addendum: Just to save time, I'll add here that I prefer dating non-smokers (kind of a big thing with me). I'm not being b*tchy, just being honest. I prefer meeting single men. I'd rather have my own to play with, not someone else's. Thanks for respecting my wishes. =).If you're looking for someone to accompany you to church, I'm probably not your girl. Yes I was raised Catholic but I don't attend church anymore. I lean more towards good karma rather than misguided dogma. I believe there is more than one road to the Divine. I haven't had good luck dating people who aren't fairly "local" (actually I haven't had good luck dating at all!! lol) so I tend to avoid that frustration now. when I get these "so and so" wants to meet you, I take it with a grain of salt, someone saying they like my picture. I usually don't respond unless someone actually writes to me. Just an FYI. by the way, I've been transitioning to a more plant based diet. so I won't be going for a steak or a burger on a date. He's my best friend and we walk all the time on the bike path!! He gets me off the couch just like a best friend would do. She died a couple of years ago. but thanks for your interest! Rent the DVD if you want to experience an "older woman". The Graduate is a great movie!POF made me choose a word to describe my personality. I chose hippy but I think it's supposed to be hippie, lol, like... peace signs, getting back to nature, etc. oh well. And, I'm actually 58. I was told (by a male friend) that nobody would see my profile if I put my true age here. Yes, the pictures are fairly recent. So if it's a problem, I guess I won't hear from you. I hate that they required me to "post my intention, i.e. dating or relationship, etc. If you put "dating" it makes you look like a serial dater. if you put "relationship" it makes you look like you're hunting for a spouse. I'm doing neither of those. It would be nice if I meet someone nice but I don't have high hopes. I haven't even been meeting or dating in a while. I have some things that I'm trying to improve about myself. I've worked 12 hour night shifts for the past 5 years and I've put on a few pounds that I'm not happy about so I'm trying to get them off. But then again.... if someone doesn't want me at my worst, they sure as h*ll don't deserve me at my best. ; )
