I enjoy life ... I love to travel, and have traveled extensively for all of my adult life.- and I enjoy watching a good series on Netflix with a glass or two of good wine. I've always been athletic, currently I'm trying to fit my Power Vinyasa Yoga and Overload weight training into my extremely busy schedule. I've been a runner, a boot camp ***, and a competition swimmer. I love the ocean, the mountains, and my children .. both my 30 year old son and 11 year old daughter. They make everything worthwhile and I think that family is so important. I'm a rocker at heart- never missed a Stones tour since I was 14. I believe in God, and have raised my children to be believe and know that there is something bigger and better than us. When I was younger, I dated a Jewish guy that I adored- until he asked me to convert- and have many dear friends that are Buddhist and Jewish. I don't judge anyone- as I said, I'm no angel, and only decide what I can and can't accept as part of my life. I've owned a successful travel business for 15 years, and I've let go when I needed to.- professionally done, and who knows? Might get a tiny diamond dermal on my cheekbone. I'm a hard worker when I need to be, but I LOVE to laugh and be with someone who can make me do so. My humor is definitely on the dry, sarcastic side, and I'm looking for someone who has lived life enough to appreciate it. I'm deep in so many ways, have been through so many "living on the edge" things that have formed the person that I am today - unique is putting it mildly. My ideal pet is a wolf - I'm intelligent, attractive, and do not look anywhere near my age.- destination as yet undecided - in the next couple of years. Why am I on this site? Because I would love to find the guy I've looked for forever, and I've been in enough bars and gyms to know that he's not to be found there. I'm recently divorced after 16 years - people change, and grow apart - no blame, just the facts. I didn't expect to ever get divorced when we were married- but I've found that life is full of the unexpected. You learn and grow stronger from experience, or you quit. Quit is not a word in my vocabulary. I'm looking for a man, not a child in a man's body. A strong man, because I'm a strong woman. Are there any out there???? A trick question - I suppose it would depend on the time of year. Honestly, it's been so long since I've "dated" - it would depend on alot on the person I was dating. I love to be surprised, and would enjoy someone imaginative enough to decide what that might be. Dinner and a movie? Probably not. Anything that would allow us to be ourselves and comfortable, because first dates- as I recall - are sometimes awkward. I remember trying to eat a taco in a polite, tactful way - not fun, and embarrassing. I'm very self aware & self confident, and yet something in me has always responed to a man who is able to take control - without really taking control. I'm quite my own person, and rebel at being told what to do. It's all in the approach at the end of the day - for the right man, I could be the elusive woman you've always wanted. Show me.

I feel that I am at my best spiritually, emotionally, intellectually and physically when I am in a committed relationship. I don't feel that we were put on earth to go through life's many journeys alone. I decided to move here in 87 to give my daughter more opportunities in life. I am not really fond of the weather in the summer months. The humidity can be a bit much. I like baseball, football, walking, bowling, boating, hiking, biking, museums, plays, art shows, local events, wine tastings and many things that can be discussed. I like most foods. I enjoy most music but am not fond of country or Rap. Sorry guys but I am a women that is not really fond of your motorcycle. A man can have his toys, but I really don't enjoy riding them in Pinellas County.. I am looking for a man that is not afraid to exercise. (You don't have to be muscle bound) I feel that it is important to stay fit and eat healthy, although I am not opposed to falling off the wagon occasionally. I'm looking for someone that can communicate freely. When we do come to an impasse I feel that it is OK to agree to disagree. I feel that mutual respect is of the up most importance. It can be what makes or brakes a relationship. I like occasional banter. I like to go out but feel just as comfortable staying in and enjoying one anther's company. I enjoy cooking together over a bottle of wine and also cuddling on the couch watching some TV. I also enjoy playing a game of cards, cribbage or a board game occasionally.I have a problem with men (as well as women) that lie about their age. I don't feel that any friendship/relationship can be built on lies. It is not a good way to start any friendship. I also feel there has to be some type of physical chemistry in the beginning . If I had gotten to know you through mutual friends or working together then the physical chemistry would not be as important. Unfortunately on this site we didn't have that opportunity, therefore its based more so on physical attraction first. (just being honest) I can not tell what you look like with one head shot wearing sunglasses. I also appreciate current photos, for when we hit fifty, "sadly enough" we do change rapidly..(All though I do try my best to fight it). Besides what have we got to hide?
