Back here again after my last date if you call it that didn't pan out. I'm not looking for the perfect guy just one that I can have a connection with. After a few years of no dogs...I now have two dogs whom I adore. One I adopted from someone who was moving and couldn't take her. Now Chopper Girl is my darlin! She was a rescue from NYC. Soooooo....I then rescued another just like her from a kill shelter in NYC. Another sweetie!I'm not into games, been there and its soooo old. I very much believe in mutual respect, honesty and enjoying life. So if you have any of the same interests, lets chat! If not, good luck in your search. :) First date...hard one. Lets start with before the first date...talk. No need to waste anyone's time with a date if there is no common ground. I'm fun loving and friendly, my kids are out of the house and now I'm looking to have some adult time. I love to travel, take day trips and stop at quaint little shops along the way. I love the Ocean and the Mountains. I enjoy reading autobiographies, historically based writings, National Geographic magazine, and anything else that may catch my interest. Knitting and crafting are cathartic. When I go out with friends we often end up at Karaoke shows...what fun! I work as a Nurse at a Assisted living facility in the Fan District I enjoy my job and feel blessed to work with wonderful elder people each day. It is hard work but always rewarding.! I feel that what we do with our lives should make a difference, and we should give as much as we take. I enjoy lots of different movies, most types of music, although I usually run the other way when Hip Hop or Rap is played! Jazz, Blues, Classic Rock, Country are my favorites. A first date could be meeting for dinner and talking, laughing and enjoying each others company. Hopefully finding out that we have common interests and passions.
