Hi, Thanks for reading a little about me....: I am a very driven,independent, fun-loving, confident,lady. I really do not take myself that seriously, life is way too short. I am so blessed that I come from a great family, I grew up as a tomboy in a neighborhood full of boys and raised by my Dad . We lived on the 10th hole of a golf course, so golf has always been a big part of my life. My Dad was a huge sports fan, thus I love sports of all kinds, love college sports the best ( The Buckeyes)! I do love the Bears, the Cubbies, the Blackhawks, the Bulls and sometimes even the Sox. Although I grew up as a tomboy, I am nothing but lady. I can easily take off my baseball cap and fit into my little black dress and I enjoy being very feminine. I embrace the person I have become and don't really sweat the little stuff. I have two teenagers who still like me, and sometimes even spend a little time with me. They are my priority. I am finding now that I have much more time than I use to. I have a great job that I can work way too much at. I work out , I run,( I am a slow runner) and bike. Working out really helps me not only physically but also mentally. About what I am looking for: I am looking for a gentleman who is very confident. I like someone who also has a good work ethic and understands the importance of family and good friends. A great guy who enjoys life and wants to laugh a lot. I am good material for someone, in fact, I crack myself up all the time! I love sports and they must be able to watch a good college football or basketball game with me. I don't want to be in control or be controlled. I like honesty and integrity. Well here we are, looking for that someone who "gets us". That someone we can be our authentic self with, laugh with, enjoy the most simple of times with, someone to just move comfortably along the journey with. What you should know about me is that I am cute, fun, smart, outgoing, open to new experiences, family oriented, love my friends and still blessed with my amazing 85 yr. old parents, who have been married for 65 yrs. I have lived an amazing life and have had great times, but I would love to meet someone who would be great fun to share future times. I pride myself on being an open book, who does not have baggage and honestly finds joy in each and every day. I have two great pups and a kitty that I adore and would hope you wouldn't mind being greeted at the door with a waging tail and having your face licked, by the dogs that is, well at least at first. You must enjoy laughter because I am a very funny girl and will keep you laughing always.I am very involved in my community and giving back in some way, I have been tremendously blessed and love the idea of "paying it forward." I love kids of all ages and what they bring to my life, through both work and my time volunteering. I am certainly not a petite lovely, but I embrace my curves and sensuality to the fullest. I have certainly had my "type" through the years and have realized that I may have missed some great guy for my being shallow. I am opening myself up to meet a good guy who is easy to be with, makes me laugh and will celebrate me and crave me as I will them. Not too much to ask for, right?
