I'm back again after taking a break from Plenty of Fish. I lost some of the mail sent to me, people who favourited me and people who used the "Meet Me" feature. Personality-wise, I would describe myself as an introspective sort, sometimes serious and intense, other times more laid back and easy-going. I have been labeled shy at times, but I consider myself more quiet-natured and reserved, with an occasional need for solitude and contemplation. I'm a positive person, an optimist, quiet at first when I meet someone, until I get to know them. I've been told I have a great sense of humour and a great smile. I love spending rainy or winter stormy days in bed with a newspaper or good book and a cup of coffee or tea. My philosophy of life is rooted in social justice and human dignity. I'm a very tolerant, understanding person. I feel that all people are valuable and much can be learned from others if we remain open. Tolerance of others, especially those society has marginalized, is one of my greatest virtues. I’m looking for a kind and intelligent man. Who is interested in forming a friendship first, and using that foundation to build a long-term relationship. Lasting love takes time and I'd like to get to know someone and let things take their natural course. You should be no more eager to rush into things than I am, and will truly understand that.
