Living in the country it is easy to escape all the negative issues the big cities have to offer. I enjoy the lakes and beaches the area has to offer. Plus out here we have the drag strip on the side of the river.Awesome! Friday nites are street legals-this is the time for me to unwind and enjoy. walking is a good way to get out and see ur neighborhood and all the areas around u. Lake trails.....are great! walking along side of the river is awesome as u get to see all the hopefuls that have been out there fishing for hours. Its great fun! I truly luv to laugh and enjoy listening to a great conversation. I believe that in a relationship it is important to hear and understand ur partner. 2 souls working at a relationship is far better than 1. I would love to travel again..........and my favorite is Disneyland. Shrek is awesome! I guess i am still refusing to grow up!LOL! Cooking is fun....as long as it is a shared effort. I love to experiment with new dishes..and really need to find someone that is not afraid to try new things.My little puppy is fed up with being a guinea pig(smile)So enjoy doing bbq. sitting outside with a nice cold drink....springsummerfall. Being out in the country....Gotta love country music? ya...but i do enjoy all kinds....the rap stuff takes a bit of getting used to. But as long as its got some kind of beat...danceable!.Johnny Reid is awesome.....really would love to see his concert...Family and friends are special to me....as should be to u also. I have 4 adorable grandchildren...This nani loves and spoils them to pieces! (payback time) LOL Hmmmm now what makes me unique? I guess u will need to find that one out urself.....No packrats....or couch-taters pls.......And drama queens? stay home! Life is too short to carry that heavy baggage around. Well hello there, fabulous person who is currently reading my profile. I was on here previously and made some awesome connections – met various interesting people, made friends, had some good laughs and most enjoyable outings. I am venturing here once more, hoping to meet up with a compatible kind soul who agrees that life is short and we are meant to enjoy it while we can. I don’t think I am interested in a serious relationship right now, but who knows what will happen. Hard to plan these things, isn’t it.How to describe myself?... I’m a bit of a fitness nut; I work out at least 3 times a week. It keeps me sane. Seriously. :-) I am always happy to meet another gym rat as a potential fitness accountability partner. I must admit, though, that I am dismal at team sports, skiing and golf. A sense of humour in a partner is an absolute must as well as a positive upbeat attitude (at least most of the time). I have previously had my heart and soul pummelled by people with negative energy and I don’t plan on going there again. More about me? Well, if you insist… I am kind, and, uh, too modest for this part…..ummmmm, somewhat intelligent, funny (please, I insist on doing my entire stand-up routine for you on our first date!), usually annoyingly cheerful, and fit (somewhat...as it is a constant battle between the gym-going/eat sensibly/don’t drink force and the overindulge-in-everything force).I spent a couple of decades in the Cariboo but now I am back home and here to stay. I love my job…my family and friends. Life is good!), strolling along the New West Quay boardwalk, theatre, dancing, trying out new restaurants, etc. My bike is languishing locked up in the shed. It deserves a better life! There is so much to offer down here in this fair city; now I just need someone to enjoy it with (well, other than my girlfriends and sister, that is). Don't really have anything in mind....generally a first meeting somewhere public to see if we click, tentatively checking out each other out and then just going from there... hopefully onto a second meeting doing something a little more interesting and entertaining. :-)
