About Me

I am not looking for an extended "online" chatting experience. I want to meet people, so if you share that goal with me then let's get to the point. A person can say anything online and portray themselves however they want to appear. Only by meeting in person will we get to know whether there is anything worth pursuing. I have met a couple of interesting (putting it nicely) men through this site, that did not happen to turn into anything, but if I hadn't met them I would still be having conversations about the weather through chatting on this site. Take a leap of faith. You cannot judge, and I myself try not to judge, on a picture alone. That being all off my chest now, here are some of the things I enjoy in life.I love music and I love to dance. Just no 2-stepping, its not that I couldn't learn to do it, I just don't really happen to like Country music all that much...I was introduced to stained glass this past winter and I love the creativity it allows me to express. It balances out the craziness of my work life.I never remember jokes, but I have a great sense of humor, laughter is after all the best medicine. My children and grandchildren are a joy in my life, I only wish I saw them more often. Children are the best comedians ever. My friends would say that I am loyal, honest and thoughtful. I would rather see the good in people and life than the negative.If you made it through all that commentary, then drop me a line, or pick your head up off your keyboard because you just fell asleep on it... Coffee and conversation or going for a walk would suit me fine but I am open to suggestions.

    Hey all.....trying out Plenty of Fish, as I have a couple friends who met and married from this site. I am a busy, semi retired lady who has started up a home based business teaching horseback riding, training horses and working with students of all ages. After working in a high stress job for 20 years, I decided to go with my dreams and passions and work at this for a few years. Sometimes I even manage a beer with friends.     I am an INTJ personality type,starting to have some moments of loneliness after three years alone with my cat. I am not into hair dye, makeup, fashions or jewelry. I live a very simple lifestyle. I bake and cook from scratch, a healthy vegetarian diet and lots of food preservation of various types. I rarely drink, and never more than two drinks, but I am herb friendly. I have an autoimmune muscle disease which causes pain, and other health issues that also do, including the scoliosis I was born with. Some days I need to nap lots and am unable to do much. I take pain meds only when desperate.I am far from sedentary,I have no vehicle and walk all over town, have wood heat, and am transforming my large front yard into another garden, to become my 4th. Grow food, not lawns! I was blessed with a green thumb and the yard to use it in. It is almost ready to put the dirt into place but it may end up waiting until spring, since canning season is still happening. I just made my salsa today.I enjoy classic rock, blues, folk, oldies, metal, heavy metal, jazz, classical, some new rock. I love concerts but prefer outdoor ones, am not one who enjoys indoor crowds. I got my first Beatles and Stones long before I started school. Peter is amazing!I have high expectations because I have a lot to give. I am looking for an intelligent, kind, passionate man, one with a strong character and a good sense of humour. I have no interest in someone who plans their life around T.V. . A foraging partner would be nice, or even to walk with for photographs. It does not take money to enjoy life, and although I do live in poverty, I am not looking for a sugar daddy. I do not like restaurants, it would sure be nice to find someone to help with dishes after I cook my amazing feasts.I have three wonderful grandchildren that I love spending time with, but none of my kids live here and everyone leads busy *** I don't like dates. I prefer meeting to get acquainted and see if there is potential for friendship.
